Re: 6N 2020

The jury is still out on Ireland. OK, it was an improvement on the Scotland game but Wales are no great shakes and it took a long time to subdue them.
With the problems at half back, England should be huge favourites.

Re: 6N 2020

The general consensus down here is that Cooney should be starting in order to speed up play. Hopefully he will get to come on a bit earlier this week.

Sexton is looking fine and took his try very well. In fairness, Murray was part of that move.

Re: 6N 2020

Best quote of the weekend from Dylan Hartley on BBC: "I know more than anyone that if you do something naughty, you get in trouble. But I never did the same thing over and over again. My eight bans were never for the same thing. My criminal versatility was unbelievable. From what I’ve read, they’ve ...

Re: 6N 2020

Sexton is still the business despite what you wish for.
I would start Cooney over Murray if only to rid ourselves of that awful box kicking.

Hoping Deegan gets no 8 on Saturday.

Re: 6N 2020

Max Deegan is unlucky not to bench ahead of O'Mahony.

Not many sides would have turned down so many points in the way Ulster did in the first half. It was courageous rugby but ultimately cost you the game.

Re: Munster 2019/20

Frawley should move north. In fact, I would advocate Leinster picking their best 25 players for next season to keep and then saying to Nucifora take the next ten to other provinces who need them. There is simply a ridiculous amount of talent pouring out of the elite private schools in Leinster, one ...

at 40 nil I went home for a beer and now watching the second half hammering on TV.
The ref should be able to call a halt to mismatches like this.

Re: Ulster Squad 2019/20

To be honest, it's hard to see Jordi getting a place at Leinster with the younger guys now in the back row for us like Doris and Deegan. Dan Leavy is making a big effort to come back too. Conan in the mix too. Jordi will stay in Belfast unless he gets a big offer from France and he has given up on I...

It's simple.
The FAI just rejoins the IFA 98 years after breaking away.
Problem solved.

Re: Leinster Away - Friday Dec 20th 7:35pm

It's funny how you hate Clancy for the opposite reasons to Leinster fans who despise the man. He basically stopped reffing after about half an hour.
The one thing we can agree on is that it's well past his time to go.
