Re: Leinster Away - Friday Dec 20th 7:35pm

Super performance from Ulster.
I thought at one point you were going to end up with a tanking but your young lads kept going. Clancy wasn't as intrusive as he usually is.

Is that the record score Ulster have ever put up against Leinster in Dublin?

Re: Leinster Away - Friday Dec 20th 7:35pm

I am surprised at some of the starters and subs for Leinster.
What are Cian Healy/Andrew Porter/JVDF doing even on the bench for this? Ridiculous decision. They should be off enjoying Xmas.

The next thing you know people will start taking this fixture seriously. :mexican:

Re: Leinster Away - Friday Dec 20th 7:35pm

Mr Clancy is bad news.
Hopelessly biased against Leinster, he ruins matches we are involved in with his idiosyncratic decisions. Will he ever just go away?
Anyway, it's a run out for our thirds against your seconds. Sooner or later the public is going to rebel against this "holiday" fare.

Re: A little bit of politics folks`

Let's hope you can get Stormont up and running and get back to running most of your own affairs. it has been simply ridiculous that during the Brexit debacle of the last three years you had no government. There may be ways of mitigating the worst effects of Brexit for NI that having a government can...

For the first time, Cooney is becoming a real contender for Murray's place on the Ireland XV.

Re: Bath v Ulster

That was a super win for Ulster. Any win away to a top English or French team is always going to be a big deal for a Pro 14 side. John Cooney seems to alternate between hero and villain but the balance sheet came out the right side for him. It means nothing if you don't beat Clermont next. To comple...

Re: English Premiership 2019/20

I am surprised that the retirement of the greatest scumbag in rugby last week has merited so little comment in the media or sites like this one.

Farewell Dylan Hartley, you will not be missed, you scumbag of epic proportions! >seeya

Re: English Premiership 2019/20

Sarries didn't show up the for the launch of the H Cup today which happened before in 2010 and they were fined. This time they should be kicked out of the tournament. Exeter must feel rightly peed off finishing up in second three years in a row. Sarries are an artificial club who do nothing for the ...

Re: Japan RWC

Ultimately, Eddie Jones has been a failure for England. Granted, he won a Grand Slam in 2016 but really since then it's been one off successes such as against Ireland in February and NZ last week. But there has been no consistency. Despite having the best club side in Europe to form the base of his ...

Re: In Defence of Schmidt, Ireland's RWC and where to now?

Eddie Jones and England sniffed out how to beat Ireland and Joe in the first 6N game last February. Basically, play massively aggressive rugby to take away possession from Ireland. Wales, using their offensive defence, did the same in Cardiff. Saracens v Leinster in the H Cup final was a surrogate v...

Will Boris be invited back to the DUP conference?

I guess he won't be building a bridge over the North Channel either.

Greetings from Tokyo.
The weather is cooler and showery. May suit Ireland a bit.We have nothing to lose and I expect a mighty effort from a full strength team. Unlike four years ago.

Re: Japan RWC

Neil Francis is calling for the Ireland team to pack their bags and come home now. Apart from his trademark silliness, if you could take it seriously, can you imagine the chaos of abandoning games and contractual commitments? Even more weird, if Scotland beat Japan next week and we would have ...

Re: Japan RWC

Eddie O'Sullivan being very critical of the Ireland team on RTE and how they didn't win with panache and good tries etc.
Couldn't resist thinking of Eddie's Ireland just about beating Georgia 14 10 in 2007.
