Re: Injury Update

While I agree he shouldn't have been rested for the game, the moment the medics twigged it was his knee he should have been off that pitch, especially since the game was against Zebre. I can't help but think if he'd gone off after the first time he went down we'd be looking at 3-4 weeks at most as o...

Re: RBS 6 Nations 2017

POM says Irelands gameplan hasnt changed since Schmidt took charge and this is a positive Therefore we can see 2 issues 1. The gameplan hasnt changed 2. The players think this system works Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk So it is well and truly analysed by the opposition by now, probably inclu...

Stockdale is surely worth consideration given his recent form.

Re: Ulster v Barbarians

Well, UR did completely forget to announce that Rob Herring had signed a new contract in 2014, wouldn't surprise me if they forgot to announce Roger was leaving/retiring.

Re: RBS 6 Nations 2017

Our old pal, Wayne Barnes, is in charge of affairs on Friday night. He has form in this fixture. My memory is it's not at all pro-Ireland. What horrifies me is that he's still only 37. He could keep on doing this game for years. Blame the ref Dont blame BoD and PoC decision making Dont blame missed...

Re: Loose Head - Van der Merwes (Hond) Signs

Ludik has served his three years at the end of this season so he'll no longer be a project.

Underwhelmed by this to say the least.

I'd have AOC and Treadwell playing as many games together towards the end of the season as possible to see how they gel as a pairing. Both still have time to reach their full potential.

Re: Ulster v Treviso

I feel like I ask this after every game - are our forwards physically unable to carry the ball at pace? With the exception of Coetzee, and sometimes Treadwell, we are pretty much walking into contact every single time.

Re: Ruan - Interesting development. Action required

As it stands, you can have four NIQs with a further spot available for a project player. That means there are five spots in a squad available for non-Irish players. A province can decide, if they so wish, to swap one of their NIQ spots for a project player. However, obviously, you cannot swap your ...
