Re: Edinburgh v Ulster Fri 4th Nov 7:35pm BBC ALBA/BBC2NI

That was the worst performance by an Ulster 15 (23) that I have seen in the last 7 or 8 years! Sad really!

Re: Anthony Foley

Shocking and terribly sad news. So much a real part of the beating heart of Munster, this loss will be deeply felt there and throughout the rugby world. Tyrone gave a moving tribute in very difficult circumstances. Thoughts with family and friends - we are all Munstermen tonight united in grief!

Re: Who was your Ulster MOTM vs Treviso?

Herring - for a consistently high work rate - leading by example. Honourable mentions to AOC, Caveman, Lulu and Scholes (who just seems to get bigger and better!).

Re: Well Done Sarries

.... does no one remember the slaughter at home by Scarlets in the Heiny in the driving rain - the one where they evacuated the temporary seating at the memorial end because it was at risk of blowing over, even with all the people in it? Skipper, Was that not the 'Quins match - which if I recall we...

Re: Dragons v Ulster Sun 8th Nov 2:30pm Dave Parade BBCNI

Personally, I think it's a major blunder UR not having some sort of team recognition for Remembrance Day. The clue is in the MEMORIAL END...Even something as simple as discreet armbands or something for the players to choose to wear (or not) subtly. Poor form. 100% baulk regarding the trend towards...

When I was a young warthog, I used to deliver the Tele Fourth, for Harry Walker./quote] Dundonald? Yip, Newtownards Road at the bottom of Reaville Park, I was a Cumberland boy, I know of at least one other regular here who was an'or yin. I think Harry was an Irish League footballer in his youth. Re: Help for an aul Boiler

My service guy showed me a very quick demonstration on the state of my boiler. With the burner removed he tapped the top of the boiler with the handle of a wire brush. A rust cloud decended convincing me that it was time for a replacement. I got a condensing boiler installed and the difference is a...

Re: Nostalgia!!

Changing the subject to a more peacable one - does anyone remember the old, cheap single X last sold in the Crown Bar in Belfast? Well, they're now selling it under different names in England; not cheap anymore though but that's power for the course! Single x was an attempt at nostalgia - a throwba...

Re: Well done Glasgow

I honestly think Ulster would have struggled to beat Glasgow yesterday! The Glasgow defence was awesome - and when Munster presented them with holes in their defence, Glasgow exploited them well. It was a good enjoyable night out - loads of craic with the Weegie fans on the west terrace - all jointl...

Re: Season review-positives and negatives

Baz, A fair summary - we do have a lot to look forward to. We have had to swallow some gristle this season (Zebre, Dragons, Weegies), but when we look back to 6 or 7 years ago and how we performed then - this would have been an outstanding season! Our Saffa signings have provided some bedrock to the...

Re: Who was your UlsterMOTM vs Glasgow semi?

Stevenson put in one of his best shifts in an Ulster Jersey, Chad also was imperious at the breakdown as well as scoring a good try, Payne made some good yards, but for me the Caveman had an excellent game and gets my vote for solid industry in both attack and defence.

Re: Glasgow vs Ulster - Live updates

Buck, assuming current injury status is unchanged, I'd go: Warwick, Best, Lutton, Touhy, Hendo, Diack, Henry, Wilson, Pienaar, Jackson, Gilroy, Cave, Payne, Bowe, Ludik Herring, McCall, Ross, Stevenson, McComish/ Joyce, Marshall, Humph, Nelson (is McCloskey out?) Be interesting to see who makes it ...

Re: Who was your UlsterMOTM vs Glasgow?

Hendo was, of course excellent as ever. However, Robbie Diack did a huge amount of work and put in some thumping tackles, but over the course of the whole match I thought beagle put in one of his best and most consistent performances for some time - and some superb defensive work - he gets my vote.
