Re: Ulster v Glasgow

I can credit my other half for introducing me to the delights of Punjana (and Ulster Rugby of course). I'm not sure if Morrissey and Preston North End counts as a fair trade or not. Justin, Morrisey wouldn't be a good swap for a bag of punctured condoms. That pretty much sums up her view too – alth...

Re: Ulster v Glasgow

Er yes, my unbridled joy at drawing level with Edinburgh was there for all to see.

Also tried a pork shoulder and back pudding starter which a bit fancier. Very tasty again but there was a king prawn nestling amo...

Wendyball fans should note that Limerick are at home to Drogheda at 1830 on the Saturday.

Looks like a half hour walk to Markets Field from Thomond...

I think my fiancée may take some convincing.

Re: Film Review Section *** NEWish ***

T2 Trainspotting. Really enjoyed it, almost tempted to say it was better than the first film. Nostalgic but done well. It was indeed. I'm not one for watching films more than once, apart from classics like the Great Escape and Casablanca, but I've watched the original a few times and Danny Boyle an...

Re: Belfast restaurants

Time for the next thrilling instalment.... The fry at Slim's Healthy Kitchen was better than I expected, largely because of the Cumberland sausage whirl. Decent poached eggs but the homemade baked beans were nothing to write home about. The whole thing could have done with a bit more bread and fat. ...

Re: What are you listening to?

I never knew a bagpipe could sound so tuneful.

Excellent evening at the Waterfront. It's on the tele on Wednesday evening I believe.

I also quite enjoyed being one of the younger members of the audience too.

Yeah an enjoyable show. Dipped a bit in the middle maybe but they wrapped it up reasonably well.
