Re: Leinster away 4th Jan

Doing a day trip from Stansted.

I’ve only been to Dublin a couple of times but it looks like a wander down Baggot Street is the way forward?

If we’re doing the 12 pubs of Christmas, I may take a break during the game if they’re going to let us on the last flight back!

Re: Ulster Fry

Cheers for that.

The oysters at Mourne are certainly good.

Went the Belfast Coffee Company on Saturday. Had the bap with sausage, egg and bacon. Decent size and the brown sauce, albeit from a sachet again, wasn't bad. Nice enough place inside too.

Re: Toulon Away European Cup

Hmmm - bit of a farce isn't it.

Do we know when this game and the Leicester game are likely to be officially confirmed?

Re: Ulster V Scarlets

Ugh. Probably overdid it on the red wine last night. Off to Stansted.

Heading for a few festive pints at the Christmas Market I think.....

SUFTUM.

Re: Welcome To Rotherham!

Was watching a two piece band from Rotherham on Sunday Brunch at the weekend… they asked the girl where was good to go in Rotherham and she said Sheffield… over to Michael. That's exactly what I did when at a sporting event in Rotherham a year or so ago. Sheffield has some decent ale. However, it s...

Re: First Scarlets Game in December

I don't whink me and the other half realised we'd pretty much be able to watch every single game on the box at home on the Herts/Essex border before we got our season tickets! Glad we go them though! The hotels in town are bloody steep for this match - flights were cheaper though. Looking forward to...

I would never ever go out with a girl who used the term, bum gravy
Snigger.

I taught it her, to be fair.

And she was right!

My mate at work has just said the same thing.

I don't think Hawaiian Burgers ever reached Lancashire where I'm originally from.

Neither did Chicken Maryland come to think of it.

Re: Ulster Fry

So I tried Strikes on Saturday. It was cheap and cheerful enough, although I thought the soda bread was a bit gluey. My major gripe was the quality, or lack of it, of the brown sauce. Came in sachet form and had the appearance and consistency of (in the words of my girlfriend) "bum gravy". It was ce...

Re: Ulster v Toulon Allstars

So the bookies have us slight favourites despite the lack of confidence on here. I'm intrigued how a team that lost 9 times out of 26 in Super 14 last year and has lost 3 out of 9 this year somehow retains a perceived air of invincibility. Our injuries to key men are incredibly frustrating but we ca...

Re: Ulster Fry

Couldn't go to Brights last weekend as there was a transit van parked inside.

As it happened, I wasn't hungry on Sunday morning after demolishing a plate of Singapore Noodles at the Red Panda after the game.

Nevertheless, it's certainly a nice place to watch rugby.

Only one stout available but at least you can drink it resting on the advertising boards.

Got the bus with their number 9's dad.

Liked the fried bread all the restaurants seemed to do as well.

Mr Gibbon asks the video ref whether or not his hole needs wiping.

I was hanging around that long on Saturday I got sunburn.

The whole squad at Parma airport yesterday. It was a bit odd that the flight featured on the arrivals board! Not the busiest airport in the world though.
