Re: Semi Final Edinburgh v Ulster Sat Sep 5 7:35pm
Billy was trampled on by all 87kg of his opposite number. Stockdale was practically waving them through at times. The heroics at the end glosses over some woeful defending.

Re: Semi Final Edinburgh v Ulster Sat Sep 5 7:35pm
Having a bench with finishers in clutch situations is the major difference in the squad. We arguably had a better starting XV in those days but absolute dogshit on the bench.

Re: Semi Final Edinburgh v Ulster Sat Sep 5 7:35pm
I’d have been very disappointed to lose that. We pretty much knew we’d be playing them for months, had plenty of inside data on them, we’ve won there for the last two years and even their first choice internationals only play for Scotland. Only our injuries made it dicey. Well it was clearly spotte...

He didn't look injured but either way it was the right call tactically.

Re: Semi Final Edinburgh v Ulster Sat Sep 5 7:35pm
What a game!!!
The only way we can compete with these teams is by giving it absolute guts. That second half was the first time we have seen that since lockdown.
Wee mads....Ulster hero
You love to see it.

Tackling appears to be optional. Must be new Covid rules.

Re: Semi Final Edinburgh v Ulster Sat Sep 5 7:35pm
Cooney's passing/kicking has been poor. Mathewson has a rolls royce pass he has to come on.
Skills are letting the team down. Very lucky to be only down 5.

Re: Ulster rugby tight-lipped....
I hadn't seen the full post including the photo. Gilroy isn't the sharpest tool in the shed that's a known. I suspect he knew exactly what he was doing including the racial undertones and thought it was funny. McFarland should rip him a new one. He just hasn't got the message from what happened to ...

Re: Ulster rugby tight-lipped....
Do people actually think that Gilroy waited until John Cooney's birthday to publicly racially abuse children they visited whilst playing in SA? On the back of last week when he was vilified for training with a non household other person. On the back of that WhatsApp message nearly derailing his care...
