Re: Belfast Tele poll

Perhaps cynical, but almost wonder if the BT have cooked up this contest knowing they'll have a chance to write another indignant click-bait hatchet job after it. Something like 'in spire of the rape trial, Ulster rugby supporters still overwhelmingly picked Paddy in their team of the decade', get ...

Re: Team for Scarlets

Marcell deserves a rest. Hendy and Jordi had an extra long summer holiday. Some rotation but keeping a strong side will be required to duff those welsh blighters.

Re: Ulster v Clermont

Big stu did not play well. The dropped ball with two men outside him in their 22 was a lowlight. He previously had a habit of playing shight when Joe came to watch. Must have spotted Faz snr in the crowd and pooped his bum. I don't think Billy has great hands, good feet though, not that I have a fet...

Re: ULSTER MOTM vs Clermont

Marcell was the best player on the pitch.

Cooney was second. The only issue is the two missed kicks to touch. One can happen but two is not acceptable for a professional. His try was exceptional though.

Re: Bath v Ulster

I think Burns can kick. Did Russ and Dave keep debates going or just trot out unfunny cliches most of the time? Is it on TV? Looks strong etc BT is obviously sorely missed. Ah Lionel, you seem to be like a 6th year after the summer hols acting the forum hard lad because the bigger boys are off to u...

Am I the only one who thinks Faddes is a complete dud? He looks no better than Nelson.
No. I would like to see the two Robs and Stockdale as the back three.

Re: Munster v Ulster Sat 5:15pm

Cooney has to stop box kicking in the Ulster half. They make about 2 metres while giving away possession. It's a high risk, low reward option.

Re: Munster v Ulster Sat 5:15pm

Not one Ulster born player in the forwards. I couldn’t name a potential Ulster born pack that could stand a chance in a professional game. But yes at least one would be a nod. The system can produce a decent backline, so much so the FIRFU thought we had too big for our boots and got rid of 2, but r...

Congratulations to the Springboks. Dan Cole should not have been near a world cup final. What a performance from the SA pack. Absolute heroes.
