Re: Ulster in the Challenge Cup
If there was a scenario in which Hendy, Carter, AOC and Treadwell were all fit and firing, might it make sense to try Treadwell at #6 instead of Hendy (in a safe / less important match) ? On the basis that Henderson is more of a specialist 2nd row nowadays and Treadwell is fast enough to play BR. H...

Re: Injury Update
Good to see the reports that curtis and Addison are on the cusp of being back. If they can be managed through to the end of this season then a nice long pre season should see them ready to go again come August.

Re: Ulster in the Challenge Cup
The saints back row are as physical if not more so than the tigers and We managed to cope with it once we sorted the attitude at half time. The 3 starting BR deserve another run out with hendo to start at lock for me. Our starting BR also bring a great link game and are able to keep up with play see...

Re: Ulster in the Challenge Cup
Hendo to come straight back in if he is ready beside big Al. Treadwell on the bench to provide some impact with 20 to go.

Re: PADDY JACKSON
LI are good to watch going forward but their defence is non existent at times. They've conceded over 20pts a game on average but sure they have an ex international defence coach [emoji15] in place so it will come good.

Re: Rainbow Cup
I wonder if the drop outs will change how teams attack and defend from 5-10m out. It will be interesting to see if the defending team try to hold a player up hoping they will be driven over the line or even pull them over the line themselves while getting under the ball. Re: Marcell Coetzee
Amazing though, how Leinster can bring a Super Rugby multiple title winning tighthead to compete with Ireland 1st and 2nd choice. Yet Ulster couldn't keep Pienaar because of Shanahan. If shanahan was playing for ireland we probably would have been allowed to keep him, that's their logic. Sent from ...

Re: Rainbow Cup
How on earth do they decide the draw for this? Leinster get Ulster and Munster at home and Ulster are away to both. Also, all the Irish sides are handicapped in this format by having to play against serious opposition compared to say, Edinburgh, Scarlets etc who all will be confident of coming thro...

Re: Ulster in the Challenge Cup
We are the team tigers didn't want to draw but they are taking comfort of it being a home game. We should embrace the favourites tag, see it as a stepping stone, after all this team has a higher ceiling than the challenge Cup in the next few years.

Re: Ulster in the Challenge Cup
Would have liked a home draw but we can go to Welford and win. Need Henderson back and our props in good shape.

Re: Saints v Ulster QF Saturday 8pm KO BT Sport 2
Any preference for the semi? Pubs will be open in England and grounds at 25% capacity afaik Suspect though that tickets will only be available to home fans, which is a pity. If so, it brings us back to home advantage meaning something again, even if not quite at the same levels as a full stadium So...

Re: Rainbow Cup
The Pro 14 need to think outside the box here. Maybe we could play them online at darts or chess? As things stand, we’ve got two weekends off before the semis and then trips to Munster and Leinster before a possible final. Do the guys really need to be playing after that anyway? Even the money argu...

Re: Ulster in the Challenge Cup
B burns deserves special praise tonight. Took a massive shot to the ribs and continued to take it to the line, resulting in stockdales try. He has his doubters but his commitment cannot be questioned. Well done Billy.
