Timoney on paper is bigger than Sam simmonds at Exeter. If he can do the same role for us then he should get a decent run at it.

Re: Ulster v Glasgow Fri Sept 24th 7:35pm KO Prem Sports
Some might say Dan had the perfect masterplan to acquiesce the warriors. Hopefully the sun shines and the forwards let it out for baloucoune to go supersonic. As long as we roll with it on the night amd continue to make little by little progress during the season we won't have to look back in anger ...

Re: Saracens v Ulster Thursday 5pm Saracens Website
Lowry had a great game and I think the new style will really suit him. The most promising thing was we seemed to have a plan no matter what part of the pitch we were in and didn't lose patience. Scoring off phase play in the opposition 22 has been a big problem for several years but today was a good...

Re: Ulster vs Saracens
Unless the 2 coaches collaborate fully on starting line ups and subs bench then these games always ebb and flow with the changes. Sarries had the stronger starting 15 and ulster fought back well after their changes at half time. At 21-26 ulster could have gone on to win but the final raft of changes...

Re: Ulster Squad 2021/22
The top line quality isn't perhaps as good as in years gone by but our much maligned SID is improving. Bar the obvious weakness in the back row every other position has decent backup beyond the starters.

Re: Ulster Squad 2021/22
Whats the chances izzy could be developed into a Courtney Lawes style 6? He has the handling skills and pace to be more than a workhorse second row and is a late enough developer to not be pigeon hold yet.

Re: PRE SEASON FRIENDLY
I'd say it is something to do with the difference between terraces and seating. While ulster are saying no social distancing on terraces they are effectively doing that by limiting capacity to 30%. It is easier to leave a spare seat between groups of tickets in the stands to allow distancing, hence ...
