Re: Positives & Negatives: Ulster V Bath

Biggest positive for me was that we actually went into the ruck with the will to keep the ball - our turnover rate against us was terrible last week. Compare that with yesterday when we were able to go through 20.. yes 20.. phases and come out with a try.

Re: Player management

What works for Leinster and munster doesn't necessarily work for us.

We play to win... Simples.

Are we still counting the minutes on the Ireland guys? Where do we sit with them?

Re: Player management

I personally think that's the wrong approach. To split the team just as things seem to be comng together is a backward step. They are big boys most on good money and if they can't put out 80 minutes a week they are in the wrong game. By all means get gilroy back in and filter a few players through t...

Re: Ulster NO 10

From the Daily telegraph... The end of the European road for Bath, blown away by a combination of poor discipline, indifferent goal-kicking and a quite exquisite all-round display by Ulster’s Ian Humphreys. The result means that Ulster now control their own future in Pool 4. A home win against Biarr...

Re: Positives & Negatives: Ulster V Bath

Normally a man of a few thousand words but I'm keeping this brief........................ish. Does this end the nonsense about getting value from our summer signings ? (hint: it should) Yet another game this year when we won from behind, is this a corner turned ? (hint: yes) Is there any doubt abou...

Re: Ulster NO 10

I heard a few people talking a while back saying that D'Arcy had some good kicking stats, can anyone shed some more light on this?

Re: Positives & Negatives: Ulster V Bath

Positives Humphreys Goal Kicking - the difference between the teams. His brother only became a consistent kicker in his late 20's and lets hope baby bro is going to do the same. Should put the NOC v iHumph debate to bed for good! Pienaar - Different Class to most others around him Tuohy - always sh...

Re: bath v ulster - live...

A sweet victory for our lads, there was some pretty dirty play from a couple of Bath individuals, so nice to stuff it up the buggers at home!!!!!!!!

iHumph really has been a man on fire with his kicking, hope no serious injury lurking there...

Re: Possible Team Bath Away?

Is it just me, or is our rate of turnover balls awfully, awfully low this season? I was looking through some old youtube clips and there seemed to be a big difference in how we handle the breakdown - much more agressive and organised looking. Against Bath for example we lost the ball much much more ...

Re: Ulster v Bath

What some people just can't seem to get in their head was we nearly lost that game due to baby Humps, the other thing that should be considered is, we have a saffers dominated pack and the rest of the pack seem happy to play in that style,ie kick long and maul,we have already seen Ulster use the mau...

Apparently the machine cannot come over from the UK as it cant get to the ferry in time.

UR have, however sourced an even better hot air system in Dublin,
