Re: PRO Rugby USA

Why not? Do you think they should at least try? Told you, it wouldn't work, it was not about trying young D it was about how shît the organisation was , it has went to the wall, bills and players not paid, this new venture however would appear to have more legs, Looks like that they are going to wa...

Re: Ulster sides in UBL

I haven't followed the UBL at all really so forgive me for an innocent question. Is there any reason why we have no teams in the top division and only two in the second? Are Ulster teams simply not very good or is there another, less depressing, reason? Money is a bigger issue than not being very g...

Re: Ulster sides in UBL

Massive congratulations to 'the Cregagh Road Bin-men' on their win away to fellow play-off contenders, Nenagh, last Saturday. It could be a great boost to club rugby in Ulster if both Banbridge and Malone could gain promotion to AIL1B and join Ballymena and Hinch, ie presuming both remain in 1B . ( ...

Re: Welsh U16 rugby

Just watching Scarlets East U16 V Scarlets West U16 on S4C. Now I know it's not a fair comparison, but Christ these guys are playing an infinitely better game than anything we are seeing at schools level. I don't know how these teams are organised, or if the boys normally play for local clubs, or w...

I can understand Ulster fans' need to promote Paddy and denigrate Jonny but PJ's time will come. In the meantime let's enjoy having very good players at 10.

Re: |Schools cup 2017

Saw this on the news tonight. Finding it hard to empathise with Grammar boys on a skiing trip. Hoping the UB actually hold their ground with all the media interest in this game/non-game. Easy for them to fold and move the game etc Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk It is my UNDERSTANDING that the o...

Re: |Schools cup 2017

so, if the fixture is delayed and played the following week and its a draw, what then, a backlog of fixtures due to a knock on effect, Friends knew what they had to do, going bitching to the press and throwing their Steiff teddys out of the Silver Cross is poor and has made no friends at the Branch...

Feck them Who? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk The skiiwankers. Correct, knew the rules , knew the dates, knew the potential consequences, so feck them. My response would be the same no matter which school was involved including my old one. Children are not professional rugby players There sho...

Re: Injury Update

Nelson played the full 80 and hasn't lost any of his pace, dropped a ball over the line when he should have scored but a decent performance bar that. Was kicking for touch and seemed to make good ground. Herron came off with around 10 minutes to go holding his knee but didn't seem to be in too much...

Re: B & I Cup 16/17

Trenier is injured as well so may have to go to sub academy loose head Anton Lupari. Academy tight head Peter Cooper had been injured so I presume they hope he is fit and if not they may have to go to Ballymena for a prop as all the other senior clubs have AIL fixtures. So should clubs be allowed t...
