Re: Ireland ? in New Zealand

It seems that World Rugby has concluded that Peyper missed a lot on Saturday that would have favoured Ireland. The failure of Peyper to miss that he should have called uncontested scrums was remarkable. The apparent incompetence of the NZ officials in managing the situation when they had red and yel...

Re: Ireland ? in New Zealand

There is a possible symmetry with 2012. As you will remember, we were beaten 42 10 in Eden Park in the first test. Then Nigel Owens gifted the ABs the second test 22 19. Dan Carter beating us with a last minute drop goal. Then we had the day of infamy, 60 nil in Hamilton, third test. We have already...

Re: Ireland ? in New Zealand

Dave, we lost 60 nil in Hamilton ten years ago. That's the reality of playing in NZ. I still think it is right to go and play there as you have to test yourselves in the hardest environment. Ireland have to steady themselves and not give away huge scores in the next two weeks. Keeping the ball and b...

Re: Ireland ? in New Zealand

As I said beforehand, I expected a fifty pointer margin so 23 was better. I think we were better than that margin as we were very unlucky not to get some scores in the second half, especially the Carbery one. They got soft tries from us in the first half. Sheehan and JVDF the best of the Irish. The ...

Re: Ireland ? in New Zealand

Ireland will be absolutely hammered in every match. Remember the day of infamy last time in 2012? 60 nil in Hamilton. More of the same, I expect. I see the tour is over for Henderson with a knee injury even before it starts. Nothing pleasant about mid winter in NZ. Very nice for summer holidays but ...

If Munster were unprofessional then Glasgow have reduced the URC to a farce. Packed their bags after 10 minutes.
Not good for anyone.

Re: Ulster v Munster Friday June 3 7:35pm KO Premier Sports 2 / TG4 / URC TV / Supersport

Lots of credit to Ulster and they were as clinical as they needed to be.
My point is that your opposition were shockingly bad. Almost sub professional for what was supposed to be a major season defining game
