Re: PADDY JACKSON
You have to admire the owners of LI who have a background in the construction industry. They appear to have resources to afford to lose a couple of sponsors. Tough guys. The feminazis will be beside themselves with rage. I will enjoy that. Best of luck to Paddy. Decide and Les next season. I wonder...

By the end of the season you will be a Murphys connoisseur, #metoo #murphysJoe Schmo wrote:Hope everyone ignores the Guinness next season. Murphys for me, I don't like it but at least it won't leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Re: PADDY JACKSON
The main sponsor is the boss mans company, Cash converters were gone anyway and Guinness were just a drinks supplier so may not have been huge money anyway.
Murphys then at Ravenspan next season the stout of choice, and hope Heineken outbid them next time round as well.

I hear he and family are heading back to SA, he took it very badly when his sister was killed in the car accident.

Re: PADDY JACKSON
And another thing, why has it taken Diageo so long to be ‘concerned’? Paddy’s signing was announced over a month ago? Why now? Some serious dithering on Diageo’s part, badly timed & IMO, ill advised. You either walk or stick with LI, I don’t see any benefit in ‘expressing concerns’ unless you w...

Re: PADDY JACKSON
I can agree that feminists down here climbed on the bandwagon and helped put pressure on the sponsors. But I think your own local feminists are just as involved. Wherever they come from they are not interested in rugby or rugby players and are just pushing an agenda. Strange thing this time is our ...

Sadly, or perhaps mercifully, the Louisville Lip has done an Ali Shuffle off this mortal coil. Often controversial, he was for me and many others one of, if not the greatest, sportsmen and personalities of the twentieth century. ...errr, 3 years ago last Monday. You getting a bit "punchy"...

Re: Japan RWC
I see Rory has weighed in on the squad size debate, says it should be moved up to 35 instead of 31 as when you take out the number of front rows it then soon gets to the stage that a player injured for 10 days but then going to be fit has to be dropped and someone else brought in.

worth bearing in mind for anyone downplaying the result, that England team is littered with guys with significant amounts of AP rugby under their belts - far more than the Irish squad, the only guy with meaningful first team experience is Kernohan Incredible result, they have done it twice against a...

Irish player lifted and dropped on his neck. Red card given. It's now 35-26 to Ireland. Couldn't believe what I was watching when he did it. There is no way he could claim it was an accident. Had him by the leg and flipped him over his head. Understand now why our Munster brethren are getting so ex...
