Re: Congratulations and Good Luck

Thanks StKen - one of the true gents that frequent these boards.

Fair play to Saints as the only team to beat Ulster in the HC and the only team to win at Ravenhill this season, and good luck in the Prem >appl

Re: Heineken Cup Round 6 - The Other Games

Clermont have to score 9/10 tries to displace Quins and a single point is enough to make them 2nd seeds with Toulon 3rd.

Leinster will put a lot of pressure on the turnips if they get 5 points here. Munster have to match their try count to finish above them in the rankings.

Re: Heineken Cup Round 6 - The Other Games

Quinns have had an easy ride - a bit like NZ in all those RWCs where they came a cropper at the business end.

A win with a TBP will still be enough to see one of them through.

Re: Ulster V Castres: Stream

The final table looks very impressive.

No mean achievement when you consider that this was a "Group of Death". I seem to recall that all 4 teams were ranked somewhere around 9-12 in the Euro Rankings at the start of the season.

Leicester won't lose to this Toulouse side at Welford Road.

Gonna be a nervy 80 mins watching Saracens though.

Re: Heineken Cup Round 6 - The Other Games

So is it only Sarries result can affect whether we're home or away? No, if Toulouse beat Leicester tomorrow with a TBP they'll go above us. So if both Sarries and Toulouse win with BPs tomorrow then we're 6th seeds. Massive long shot though with Tiggers at home. Should be a very tight game and can'...

Looking increasingly unlikely that both Munster and Leinster will be in the q/fs.

On another note, and not meaning to be pedantic. It isn't our first win on French soil. I said the same on the Ulster Rugby facebook status and the admin deleted it.

It definitely does!

It will influence who we play when it all shakes out tomorrow.
Probably won't though.

Sarries home or away is still odds-on favourite.
