Stopped and filled up at Sainsburys ( Holywood) tonight. Surprise surprise, it too is now at 143.9.

A week late but still possibly worthy of a mention is the passing of Mr Yevgeny Prigozhin who died in a plane crash travelling to his home town St Petersburg from Moscow on 23.8.2023, which, Lest We Forget, was officially DAY 6059. He was just 62 and is buried in Porokhovskoye Cemetery beside his Dad.

Oh dear, petrol 4p this morning at Tesco to 143.9.

Maj Gen Sergei Goryachev, aged just 52, whilst on holiday in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine. Such a shame.
