Re: Dragons in November a Sunday fixture?

We're moving a home league game to a Sunday?

Why is that game not decided but the Ospreys one after it is?

Re: Clarke confirmed as Ulster Rugby’s forwards coach

Seems strange giving him a year when the new head coach joins in November Easterby Out In the highly unlikely event that this does happen I don't see us changing the entire coaching ticket mid-season. If we have a new head coach in November I imagine he'll be waiting until the end of the season to ...

Re: Is this the end of Friday night rugby?

After some digging have discovered that BBC Wales have to show the rugby, no matter what the cost as part of the government Welsh speaking programs grant aid. BBCNI do not get he same choice or financial aid even if they were to teach Jim Neily Irish. Sky had there choice of the league games and ch...

Re: Any sign of our new home shirt ?

Looks like the Ireland shirt could look similar to 2007 World Cup if the women's RWC shirts are anything to go by. The womens shirt is nothing to go by. That's just a off-the-shelf shirt they are wearing. Thought so, amazing that they have not got the same shirt deal as the men (Puma or on to C'bur...

Setanta is a load of tom kite, I really hope we don't end up on that.

Re: Your 1st choice 23 man squad for the upcoming season.

I hope that Pienaar isn't our 10 cover this year cause I don't think he's particularly great in that position.

Olding maybe, I'm sure one of he or iHumph will be available each game. I'd only move Pienaar if there was no other option.

Re: Is this the end of Friday night rugby?

The website still shows the fixture list as being one of three dates for each fixture. The website always shows that at the start of each season. First you get the fixture that you play each weekend and then they are scheduled for specific dates some time after that. Only the first half of fixtures...

Re: Is this the end of Friday night rugby?

At least it would appear that if you subscribe to Setanta you also get BT Sport in the package for the Euro matches while up here we just get Setanta >threaten Yea I'm lucky on that front. Would be pretty furious if I needed three subscriptions to see all our games! Though knowing my luck most of o...

Re: Is this the end of Friday night rugby?

Alba have said they will be showing Scottish home games, can't find anything official on their web page but one of their tweeters said they were. However, I don't know how it will work as I think they relied on other FTA broadcasters for their feed with only occasionally sending their own cameras o...

Re: Is this the end of Friday night rugby?

I understood that BBC Wales paid hugely more for their coverage than BBC in NI or Scotland and that perhaps explains why there are no deals on the cheap available this year. Setanta? Who in feck's name would want the crap offerings they have at £9.99 per month. Fair enough if you were also interest...

Re: Is this the end of Friday night rugby?

If our games aren't on BBC then I think this will be a disaster.

If Setanta get them you'll need a Sky, BT and Setanta sub to watch all our games. How the fcuk is that good for the consumer? Increased competition my jam roll.
