Re: Ulster's finances
That Casement was an interesting character.
For a fella evidently keen on a sausage, I suppose it was inevitable that having turned his back on the British banger it was cosying up to the Kaiser that would turn out to be the wurst of his crimes….

Was looking weird with everyone singing the anthem too (until the camera panned to Lowe).Lurgan Lad wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2024 6:38 pm Was hard listening to the song 'four proud provinces of Ireland' when there isn't an Ulsterman in sight!

Yeah - nearly tried it a couple of times but it was shut.
I’d usually nip around the corner to Robinsons.
The draught cider in the Crown is always tempting too.

Re: Ulster's finances
Oh and UR have seemingly pulled the plan for expansion of the soon to be renamed Kingspan part of the rationale for property development into the neighbouring area. That comes with an assurance from the IRFU that should we ever reach the dizzy heights of a QF we can switch to big brother on the And...

Last week was the first time since the OPTA stats commenced in 2010 that Ireland didn’t try a grubber, a chip or a crossfield.
Seems odd, especially against a blitz defence.
Maybe Ireland actually lost by not kicking it away?
They should have picked Billy.

Re: Montpelier tickets
According to my link, the game is on the Saturday :duh: Bizarrely, the stands at Montpellier are named after other stadiums. It’s quite a good view from ‘Murrayfield’ behind the posts. I was there a couple of years ago when Quins played. Their fans all seemed to be in ‘Eden Park’. Don’t know anyone ...
