Re: Other Champions / Challenge Cup
Been to lots of games, in plenty of sports, as, in effect, a neutral. I don’t support teams I don’t support (bar rare exceptions - I once went to Colchester v Walsall at Layer Road in an unsuccessful attempt to derail the away side because it impacted upon PNE’s promotion bid at the time). If pushe...

Re: Other Champions / Challenge Cup
Looking forward to Leinster v LR tomorrow. Nearly went but the risk of seeing thousands of happy part-time Leinster fans put me off. Interesting that most of the Irish pundits seem to be going for the Champs yet the bookies, who tend to be correct more often, make the home side 7 points favourites....

"Last season, the IRFU converted more than €4 million of Munster’s “operational debt” into a long-term loan, meaning the province now owes the IRFU a total of €10.75 million when also factoring in the remaining sum owed for the redevelopment of Thomond Park in 2007/08. This conversion of operat...

D4 do care now, and rightly so, when we're running at a loss, we're a parasite draining the coffers. This feeling sorry for ourselves that we don't get the rub from D4 needs to stop, the wow me feeling sorry for ones self, the chip on the shoulder, its pathetic...... the IRFU is a business, if one ...

Re: Contract Situation
Ulster should target Jack Boyle from Leinster (a very promising youngster behind Porter, Healy and Milne) and sign an NIQ 9 or 10. They’d still have money to spare. In reality, Kitshoff was slightly better than Kitshoff around the park, but probably on a par in terms of scrummaging. Can't see Boyle...

The level of losses at English clubs is frightening, Can all of them survive?
It makes Ulster's financial results look rosy!

GAA has always been a bit of a free for all. I played it for many years. Lots of local rivalries. In fairness there was little or no sectarianism even though I was kicking the ball with the wrong foot.

Re: A little bit of politics folks`
I'm having trouble keeping up with the latest news from the NI Executive and Ulster Rugby. Do you think it would be a good idea to merge these two organizations into one? This could create some valuable synergies, especially if we involve people like Gerry Kelly and Sammy Wilson at Ravenhill. I beli...
