Re: Injury Update
Re the Fiji game since the game is at Thormond to ensure the Munster bums on seats The team could well be mostly Munster Players re- enforced with a couple of Ulster and leinster players.

Re: POOR Family/kids treatment at Ravenhill....(KILLJOYS?)
The ends of the stand are no longer used because H&S decree that a seat must accessible from two directions those at the end can only be entered of exited in one direction.
It basically a by product of the Bradford Stand fire and in that context is a reasonable requirement.

Re: Is it difficult to referee?
Provided you realise that you first consideration must be the welfare of the players and that you should be fair and equitable as to how you apply the laws then your half way there.

Re: Stevie Ferris
Having watch the game a second time the truth is that Ferris actual did very little in the first half very few tackles and very few carrys on Friday night -- he was trying to coast a game. I believe he had very little faith in his own fitness and ability to withstand a physical set-to looked like he...

Henderson has played second row and once DK has picked the Munster back row he'll get his ticket home on the Enterprise

Re: Ireland squad for AI's
BoD Earls McFadden got the run around by the ABs -- because Earls was undisciplined in defence and I have seen nothing in his personality to make me think he will suddenly conform to team tactics he is an aggressive loose cannon whose positioning is highly suspect at 13. D'Arcy plays a drift defence...

Re: Positives and Negatives: Ulster V Embra
In good old "coarse" rugby the first thing you were told was "if isolated kick the ball as far into touch as possible" --it may give away possession but at least you will have an organised 15 man defence . The one thing that is evident this year due to two factors the first being...

Re: Ulster v Edinburgh
This is a Bradley coached Scottish side well versed in the art of the slow ball kill ball rugby 5 points that is 4 trys might be hard to obtain -- might well be decided by the boot of Ruan.
I don't expect a fast open game given the opposition and the weather.

Re: Ulster v Edinburgh
Given previous selections Payne Nelson/Cochrane Allen Wallace Gilroy Pienaar Marshall If fit Allen will start and Payne will start at Full Back possible subs would be Pienaar to scrum half and Olding to out half Payne to 13 and Nelson to full back Ferris will start for 50 -60 mins If Ulster have com...

Re: Ulster v Edinburgh
Why not -- Henderson doesn't need game time Ferris does -- will Ferris survive ? without SoB the back row cover consists of "tried and found wanting" in my opinion -- adequate but not great With the centre partnership in the air any centre in the squad will be staying with the squad hence ...

Re: Ulster v Edinburgh
Since I expect the Leinster front row to start I thought Court and Dec Fitz would be back Gilroy was always on the Bus as was small p With O Gaga carrying an injury Jackson could well be on the Ireland bench and to be honest GaGa is playing the worst rugby of his career at the moment and being the o...

Re: Ireland squad for AI's
It really comes down to firstly is Earls fit then which is Kidney's greatest concern outside centre or full back ? Has he confidence in Bowe at full back? For a line out of Bowe Zebo Earls D'arcy Trimble Sexton Redden To honest it scares me (as in fearful) Or would he prefer Earls Bowe Cave D'Arcy T...

Re: HEC Reform
The ERC was not envisaged as a European league Cup when Ulster won in1999 if memory serves there was no Celtic league It was a competition for teams from each of the Unions . In France and England the Unions opted out of the professional administration of the leagues and the their Leagues are basica...
