Nice to get some value from my TV subscriptions for a change over the last few weeks!

Fair play to one of my usual travelling companions who managed SA and Montpellier >appl

Re: Clermont v Ulster, Saturday April 13 12:30pm (UK Time) TNT Sports - Actual Channel TBC

Open training session at Ravenhill at 10.00 on Friday hardly seems ideal for playing a match in France 24 hrs later! 🤷‍♂️ They only left Belfast at 2pm on Saturday for a lunchtime game in Montpellier on the Sunday. Got to Montpellier around 6pm local time. And yet they looked so clinical and accura...

Re: Montpellier v Ulster, Sunday April 7 12:30pm KO (UK Time), Viaplay Sports

Justin Cooney’s tackle was high it was the tackle by ToT which was a harsh call My point is basically that a referee and his known disposition can effect how a team play and players performance and imo Ulster were trying to play within that frame work although Cooney was getting a little frustrated...

Re: Kits Off

Jim Hamilton reckons Rassie has expressed a preference for his lads to be playing in SA (Nyakane and Esterhuizen heading to the Sharks) and, more specifically, SK’s name is in the hat to be the new Saffer skipper.

Re: Montpellier v Ulster, Sunday April 7 12:30pm KO (UK Time), Viaplay Sports

The high tackle by Cooney? Looked like a pen to me. Montpellier plainly decided at half-time that the only way they were going to lose a game they didn’t want to win was by racking up a few cards. I would suggest that the fact that Clermont could have let the Cheetahs sneak past them but didn’t does...

Re: Contract Situation

I took him to mean that the reduced squad size will result in the remaining players having more frequent access to the weight training apparatus.

Re: Montpellier v Ulster, Sunday April 7 12:30pm KO (UK Time), Viaplay Sports

I thought we had a very good chance of winning. Not sure I can remember a team scoring that many points whilst looking so singularly unimpressive though. I just don't see it Justin. If we somehow manage to beat Clermont away, we'll likely face the Sharks away in the semis, and then Glaws/Benneton/C...

Yes, it was his first para I was commenting on. And agreeing with.

Whether or not I agree with the second paragraph initially depends on whether there’ll be any money or if it just gets swallowed up by the Bank/the IRFU.

Never thought I’d say it but please Billy Burns get fit soon. 🫤 wise up allowed an opinion Al, when Doak can’t find space against 12 men he is not the answer. With BB going I’d still take him over Doak. If common sense breaks out we’ll use SK money on a safe pair of hands at 10? Do we not pick SK b...
