Re: Boshoff

Doubt it.

Seems to have been released on compassionate grounds to return to SA following the sudden death of his father.

Re: Champions Cup 17/18

I panicked when I saw Clermont & Sarries in the same group but then thought it's OK. Sure we always end up playing our pre season fixture opponents.

As has been said it could have been a lot worse. :fleg:

And this the same Western Force that is expected to be dropped from Super Rugby which is reverting back to 15 teams.

Super 15 would be a good name for that competition >EW

Re: Ulster v Barbarian's

Does anyone else see this as an attempt to squeeze more ££s from supporters wanting to give Ruan a big send off in his last home game? Now that his last (home) game has changed from Leinster on 6th May (pretty much a guaranteed sellout) to another a month later you can expect Ticketbas***d to be bus...

Re: ULSTER V GLASGOW Omniplex Thread

The West Terrace (arriving early) will allow you to get beside the tunnel. Plenty of good photo opportunities as the players enter / leave the pitch. Also a chance to gulder if an opposition player is carded. >seeya Regarding photo opportunities after the match, perhaps if you arm yourself with a ba...

Re: John Cooney

Agree on him having a decent game for Connacht on Saturday although he played 10.

Still it gives us another potential option as a backup for Paddy if we've sufficient cover at 9 (p :duh: )

Re: Contract situation

What has happened Rob Lyttle? Is he injured?

I thought he looked decent at the start of the season and a useful kicking option too as he didn't miss much in the early games.

Re: Logan Out.

I'm pretty sure I recall an interview with Bryn (not sure if in a newspaper or URTV production) where he explained how he'd been involved in targeting Charles and the fact that it was all done so far in advance of him actually arriving.

Lloyd Linton is a doctor who did his medical studies in one of the Scottish universities. (may have been Aberdeen)

Whilst at uni he refereed under SRU and continues to do so part time (I believe) in conjunction with his medical work now that he is qualified. :thumleft:
