Re: Ulster Squad 2018/19
Did you look at the initials on Marty Moores tshirt.... on the sleeve? ROD Gave me a good giggle. Must not have kit for him therefore kitted him out in Rodneys gear [emoji38]
Would be a disgrace if true.
https://twitter.com/UlsterRugby/status/1011300743071125509 https://pbs.twimg.com/...

Re: Replacement 10
You would hope that McFarland is being consulted (and Soper) on who is being brought in but was the attempt to sign Jantjies before they were appointed?

Re: Replacement 10
Watched the Saffers Vs Engerland yesterday and the woeful performance of Elton Jantjies, I never rated him and it was the right call to block us from signing him. My question is who made the call in the first place to go for him? It’s sounds to me the Ulster foreign player signing policy is “We want...

Re: They don't like it up here
Just thinking about rugby pundits and how BT Sport with BOD and Austin Healey, (what is the collective noun for gobshites) have gone for big name past players rather than ability to engage the viewer.
Anyway old Shaggy Horgan on Sky is soooo much better he's not ego driven unlike the other pair.

Re: They don't like it up here
I have a lot of time for ROG he says what he thinks and gives everyone a fair dig or an unfair dig but at least it’s regardless of who or where they are from. He despises everyone equally and you’ve got to admire him for that.

Re: They don't like it up here
I agree Liz that BOG is biased against Ulster and not in a subconscious way. Ive never heard him say anything positive for instance about Rory Best while he's captain of Ireland but instead asking things like how much longer can he last. After the Grand Slam win he waxed lyrical about Kearney being ...

Re: Dan McFarland
I've no doubt it is just negotiating tactics from the SRU to underline the contractual terms but Ulster once again have not covered themselves in glory. The SRU will be most likely be out of pocket for getting Wilson out of his Wasssup contract and will want to keep themselves whole at the very lea...

Re: TV coverage 18/19 Premier Sports
Ulster No 9 As a ST holder I will admit to recording Ur wherever I could get it, usually Bbc, so that I could analyse , occasionally enjoy, the reruns (unpaid analyst!) and find out why some of the refereeing decisions were made. Also , the PA system is often crap. So I might therefore be a Premium...

Re: Ulster Rugby Round-Up podcast
I think it’s very good, I really enjoyed it. Yes the talking over each other in the last episode was a bit frustrating (because you couldn’t make out what anyone was saying) but that’s an easy fix. I’m a fairly new listener to the show but thought it was well balanced and informative. Also when you ...

Re: Here's something waaaaay off topic.
While at Clermont match back in December 2016 brought this back. You had to buy 30cl Plastic cup, before buying tickets to allow you buy beer!!!! Part of an on going EU directive to save the planet and prevent alcoholism. I mean queueing up each time with a 30cl thimble, you needed six cups each. IM...
