Re: Negatives Ulster V treviso

Baggy I believe our prayers will be answered when the saviour of Ulster Rugby returns. St Ruan! Dave. You are either a teaser or a mentalist - or perhaps even both. Loving to see what Baggy makes of your post. Cables seeks a response, Cables gets a response  When it comes to Ulster Rugby, I ca...

Re: Negatives Ulster V treviso

Let me paraphrase for moment... Three fixtures ago...lack of a bonus point was main the concern, but generally the future seemed bright with a squad full of talent. Two fixtures ago...injuries, discipline and positional selections were the main issues, issues which seemed resolvable. One fixture ago...

Re: Negatives Ulster V treviso

Danielli scare the bajeeez outta me ... but not near as much as Small Paul ... jeez I've seen steadier hands and clearer thinking at an Al Qaeda Birthday Party pass the parcel game. And forgive me, I'm recovering from a bad weekend - both internally and externally BUT... Robbie Diack???? Built like...

Re: Ulster V Treviso

I'm thinking down the line when the world cup guys are home. Gilroy could start at 15. Couple of decent kicks tonight.

Re: Ulster V Treviso

We can't go through another season with D'arcy as our first choice 15. Gilroy to 15 when Trimble and Dan come home.

Re: Ulster V Treviso

Difficult viewing tonight. Fair to play to anyone who made it out. Could hear plenty of singing at 0-20 down. :salut: The scrum is a total liability as it was against Ospreys. Even at CL level you cannot win games with a scrum that bad. I admit I am not overly certain of the finer points of scrummag...

Re: Ireland vs Wales

Talk was Murray was selected because of the fear of Parisse making hay of the back of the scrum against the weakling Reddan, a player nowhere near good enough for international rugby. As for Isaac, nice guy but even less of an international 9 than Reddan, his passing is barley acceptable though gran...

Re: Ireland vs Wales

ROG showed he still the master although Sexton is a close second. It wasn't just the goal kicking but ROG's kicking from hand too. He put in a few ROG specials, one bounce and into the corner. Sexton's kicking from hand has been poor, slightly aimless and easy to catch. Wales' backline is on fire an...

Re: WHAT A DILEMMA NEXT WEEK

What a cracking performance by Ireland today. I know people will try to play it down but it isn't often we score so much against Italy. The nature of the team performance was very pleasing as well as the individuals displays. I don't where players like D'arcy have suddenly found their top form but s...

Re: Dragons v Ulster

This is not an excuse for the two humbling performances of the team in Wales, but maybe it suggests that the rave reviews for some of our younger players are slightly exaggerated. While I don't want to jump to conclusions this could well be true but we have to give them a bit of time to develop. Ab...

Re: Positives & negatives: Ulster V hairsprays

When "experts" on here were calling the problems of playing the young backline with Marshall at 9 before the team was named. Why could McGlock not see it? Or was this match sacrificed as a learning experience for the pups? Wouldn't say I was an expert but my fears were founded, thing is t...

Re: team vs Ospreys

Very pleased that Humph isn't injured, well enough to prevent him from playing. Although Irish rugby doesn't have a good track record in this department. Glad that Luke Marshall is given a start, very promising player lets see what he can do against good opposition. Strong looking pack with plenty o...

Anyone know anything about young Blane McIlroy? I think he is a 9. Has anybody watched him play or rate his prospects?
