The article last Sunday certainly appears to have been researched - unlike the plethora of previous Sunday Life articles written by Jim Gracey in support of the Maze.

YM, the City Hall thing didn't happen not due to pettiness, but due to the Biarritz travel arrangements. As they were only arriving in Dublin on Friday afternoon, coming to Belfast for 6 pm and leaving by midnight, i'm not entirely sure when the civic reception could have been held. If the match had...

Folks, the reason the City Hall thing didn't happen was simply because the Biarritz fans were only gonna be in Belfast from about 6 pm to midnight. As there was a match or something during that period, it didn't leave a lot of leeway for a civic reception! But must have been a right shambles at Malo...

This time last year I would have agreed with all the criticism of Maggs, but this season, he's been one of our most consistent players. He's there to do a particular job, and he does it. Just think we don't maybe realise the amount of work he gets through defensively as well. With Boss on the team, ...

"Dead Ball" - "reasoned debate". Nah, just don't think that sounds possible somehow - the two terms seem to be contradictory. :)

Yes CT - now perhaps some people will be more aware of the problems facing the Committee. I doubt the situation has changed much since you left.

Re: Mike Reid and the Board of Ulster Rugby

Speaking of MR and the his accountability, I also remember that he once instructed UR staff not to communicate with the URSC!!!!  Aaaaahhhhh, just found out from a UR and URSC insider, that this was TRUE!!!! now what do we take from this then? What are members of the URSC and ordinary...

BP being silly again. I can't remember exactly where I was at the time of the remarks, but I think it was just to MR's left but it might just have been his right. As I said before BP I couldn't care less whether or not you believe anything I say, but I was merely reporting a fact in response to the ...

"With respect to his comments re the supporters at away matches I would also suggest he made that comment tongue in cheek" Ah, so you were there BP and participated in the conversation. Funny, I can't remember that. Re MR's instructions to the UR staff, I simply ignored this when on the Co...

Fair enough Gary! In the interests of fairness, I should confess I hail from the same old school as Mike. I knew him, although not well. The picture I see painted of him here is not one that fits well with my recollections of him. I do accept that many years have passed which have moulded us all di...

I think the rather inactive nature of the URSC section on the website is rather more to do with only one person being trained in how to operate the thing. He then resigned. :( Not the inactive part Gary I understand the reasons for that, but was it not originally proposed that the URSC section woul...
