The South African teams must have been worried. The same thing happened before the World Cup final in 1995!!

Re: Sharks v Ulster Saturday 22nd October 5:15pm KO (UK Time) Premier Sports 1

Why would both Ulster and Glasgow go down with the same illness?

Did Glasgow move into the same hotel as Ulster left in Johannesburg to did Ulster move into the Glasgow Hotel in Durban?

Why would the take him to South Africa if they didn't think he would be ready to play?

I think we will go fully loaded (albeit without Henderson) against the Sharks.

Re: Lions Vs Ulster Saturday 15th October 1pm kick off Premier Sports 1

It's going be a tough game against the Lions and I think we will need a strong bench to finish off the game. I would start with quite a few of the Emerging Ireland players (namely Doak, Flannery, Moore, Baloucoune, Stewart and possibly Izuchukwu) as they will have have been well acclimatised to the...

Indeed! Nucifora must have had great foresight in identifying the talent of a 14 year old Nathan Doak. Getting rid of Ruan just cleared the way for him!! :duh: :duh:

Ruan Pienaar

Here a really interesting article about Ruan in The Irish Times. At 38 he has extended his contract with the Cheetahs and hoping to move into coaching in the future and he hasn't ruled out the possibility of moving back to Belfast. In fact, his comments on Ulster and the Ulster fans are positively g...

I couldn't agree more Turko.

There have been a few disappointments watching Ulster Rugby this year - but many many more positives. I've enjoyed this season.

We just need a a couple of big boys in the pack. The backs are a joy!

Wow - that's a strong team. Five of the Springbok team that played England in November. Our forwards will certainly have their work cut out for them.

It will be good to see two world class speedsters against each other - Mapmipi v Baloucoune

That's a great team and relatively strong bench. They must be going for the win!

Should be a great match.

Re: Ulster v Leinster Saturday March 12th 7:35pm KO Premier Sports 1 & TG4

Some of you guys are really hard on our Ulster Team. If we are not winning with a bonus point - then we are totally useless. The conditions - especially in the second half - were horrendous. We ground out a win that we wouldn't have been able to do a couple for seasons ago. We played really well - a...

Re: Injury Update

I'd like to see Sexton get a run. Even if he goes on the left wing with Mike at full back.
