Re: Team for Dragoons
Like the look of the team, apart from Hume as captain as I think he is too hot-headed confrontational in his mannerisms. Hope to be proven wrong though. It's the old tactic of giving the disruptor a position of responsibility. Can make them toe the line or make things worse. We'll see on Saturday n...

Re: Contract Situation
If balancing the books is the key driver then the focus must be on a leaner but capable squad. If that means cutting 3 squad fillers to keep the likes of McCloskey then so be it. Using the academy more in 1st team training can only benefit them in terms of learning drills, moves etc which will make ...

Re: Dragons Pre Match Q&A with Jonny Petrie
We'll win nothing with Burns. He is a symptom of our mediocrity. Turnips are welcome to him. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk The turnips aren't intending to win with him either. He's there as back up meanwhile we are hoping burn's back up will come good for us. Shows the difference in where the...

I'd like to know how much involvement did he have in the sacking of mcfarland? And when he felt a change was required.

I wonder if Andy or POC might help out in a consultative manner again like farrell did with munster before.... Swop Munster for Ulster in the article and the parallels are there.... "It's a positive move for Munster. They had to do something. The spiral they are on at the moment is so worrying....

8 games left with 2 in SA and 2 against leinster and munster. Will 4 wins be enough to scrape into the top 8? I can't see top 4 a possibility now.

Re: Dan’s Not the Man.
Is there still not the 6 month break clause in coaches contracts? Surely if they put Soper in charge till the end of the season and get a new coach then we wouldn't actually lose money? He’s signed a contract until the end of next season!!! I know but Erasmus and van Graan were under contract with ...

11 out of 15 or 16 out of 23 ulster born and bred. Will that be enough to bring sufficient fight today? If it doesn't then we are in serious difficulty.

Re: Ospreys away Sunday 18th Feb 3pm
A loss this weekend will push us from 5th to 9th and outside the knockout positions. Could even go to 10th if connacht get a BP win. Correspondently, a BP win could put us 4th. The league is very tight and the bit up at home against Edinburgh will likely come back to haunt us this year.

So is bobbie B definitely going? The article isn't definitive just that he is open to the idea. Does he need to stop playing 15s now in order to compete for a spot?
