Re: |Schools cup 2017
King- the young redhead lad is also called Conor Kelly I believe. He started in the 2nd XV this year and has moved up. Methody have some very good young players coming through. Come Cup time I still reckon MCB can pose a threat. They have two 5th form wingers who can only get better. RBAI are a good...

Re: |Schools cup 2017
RBAI are a good side and I expected them to win but having watched the MCB V Ballymena game last week I could see good progression and the young lad Conor Kelly scored again this week for MCB. Come cup time MCB will be tough for anyone I reckon.

Re: |Schools cup 2017
Looks like the MCB lads put up a great second half performance after being 26 v 0 down at half time at Osborne! Scoring a try and not conceding is good stuff against a side full of representative players Encouraging.

Re: |Schools cup 2017
MCB 5 v 13 Ballymena - cracking game at Pirrie on Saturday morning. Ballymena by far the bigger side but MCB met them head on defensively making for a great contest. Very impressed with MCBs 5th form wingers and tight head prop Ben Crangle who looks a great prospect. Young Conor Kelly came on second...

Re: Connacht V Ulster Live updates
If Ulster had been playing well all season then this game would have annoyed me much more but the truth is it was coming. First 20 minutes or so last week the Ospreys were finding gaps with ease and we have been fortunate thus far. Season in season out we bemoan a great number of our defensive displ...

Re: |Schools cup 2017
I do believe I mentioned Ballymena will push RBAI pretty hard? All the hype will be around the RBAI squad. I think it's also fantastic Dromore are getting into the mix.

Re: |Schools cup 2017
In all honesty RBAI should be winning the schools cup at a canter given the returning representative players they have but I hope it's no all plain sailing. Ballymena, Wallace and Campbell will push them hard.MCB are an unknown quantity but having watched one game this year they will score a lot of ...

Re: |Schools cup 2017
Great win for Wallace today against CCB. Excellent win for Wellington against RBAI! I suspect RBAI may have rested the provincial lads but I would have thought they would have had too much for Wellington... Interesting.

Re: Treviso v Ulster Sat 10th Sep
Wee Marshall cannot win with some of the armchair experts on this board. I agree with Snipe on this one, go for it! Risk of injury??? It's rugby for gawdsake ... If Craig Gilroy could tackle correctly he wouldn't have got mugged early doors and ended up a concussion doubt but then Rob Lyttle wouldn'...

Re: Ulster vs Dragons Friday 2nd September
Congratulations to young Ross Kane. Equally at home at LHP or THP and mature beyond his years. I expect Kaner to do a good job Hope to see Robert Lyttle get a run out at some stage as well as he's a really bright prospect. Bonus point win for me.

Re: Pre Season Fixtures
Charles looks a cracking player, very quick, powerful and direct. Saw both games and there is no doubt strength in depth . I thought Alex Thompson acquitted himself very well in the A game in second row and certainly brought physicality to the fore against a BIG Canadian side. Charles aside a specia...
