Re: Semi Final Edinburgh v Ulster Sat Sep 5 7:35pm
Haven't watched a lot of Pro12 the last year or 2. How good are Embra these days? We have a decent chance?

Re: Munster 2019/20
You in Auckland? I’ll be watching the North v South game tomorrow. Dunno if Hoskins Sotutu is fit but he was brilliant in SRA. yup. Just watched the North Vs South game. Most entertaining game of rugby I have seen in a looonng time. Physicality mixed with sensational skill all played with intensity...

Re: Munster 2019/20
Yeah, JJ cost them dearly.
Lots of good young players. I haven't watched much pro12 in the last couple of years - hardly recognise anyone!!!
Leinster look very solid. In 3rd gear.

Re: 6N 2020
Home team won... you have to be seriously good to win against a decent side like england. Ireland are good enough to beat anyone at home but nowhere near good enough to win away. In fact even NZ and SA would struggle to win at Twickenham on current form. Home wins over the likes of scotland and Wale...

2 home wins as you would expect. 2 away defeats on the cards.

Haven't seen the game but a pleasant surprise to see an away win. Any of the pack really stand out?

Re: Japan RWC
South Africas path to the final was much easier given that they only had to beat Japan and a threadbare Welsh side. Not much emotional or physical energy was spent en route so they could empty the tank in the final. England having to beat the 4 championship sides in a row was always going to be a t...

Re: Japan RWC
I'll never forget the interview Erasmus gave after their defeat in their first RWC cup game were they lost to the ABs. He was so happy, so confident. Never seen an interview like it - it was though he had a big secret up his sleave and it was all part of his plan. It's been a weird tournament, NZ lo...

Re: Japan RWC
Agree the SA kicking was poor. Both wales and SA played like sides who didnt want to lose as opposed to sides that wanted to win. Pressure is on England now. They had one of those games V NZ when everything went right. If some things go wrong early on against SA then that is a different place to be ...

Re: In Defence of Schmidt, Ireland's RWC and where to now?
Joe is a top coach. His lack of a plan B for Ireland makes me think one of two things: 1. He has no confidence in irish technical ability. He wanted a low risk gameplan as he had no confidence that irish players could execute anything more ambitious. 2. A low risk gameplan based on kicking and defen...

Re: Japan RWC
Yeah i think SA can pull it off. England really took it to NZ around the fringes but SA should be able to deal with that. Finals tend not to be expansive games which again will suit SA. It will be an almighty battle up front and at the breakdown.

Re: Japan RWC
Excellent performance from England. Had a gameplan and executed it very well. NZ reminded me of Ireland the week before. Just looked clueless against the rush defense. Kicking game was terrible and had no answer to the English lineout. I thought it was odd that Cane was dropped. First time i have se...
