Re: And today, joining the underground .....

Just looked at this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMd7PQavavw Duckham is fantastic. as Jet says, incredible step. By the way, also THAT try, followed by the worst ever conversion attempt and at least three red card tackles. Most enjoyable. Brilliant skills by the Barbarians and appallingly high ...

Re: The Current Ulster Squad

Maybe it's fairer just to say that Billy Sean Burns has proved to be a major disappointment to me. His early promise has not been built on and he seems to be too often hobbling or missing in action. He does not deliver consistently at the level of his occasional top quality plays.

>you_rock Pretty much in agreement with the analysis except I would be much harsher about Burns.

Explain the continuing status of Billy Burns, Johnny Bell and above all Dan McFarland. Will McF once again "take the learnings going forward"? Tired of his hollow rubbish.

Re: Next season's Heineken Cup

I think we should call for a public inquiry into this omnishambles. Tis the Ulster way, after all. Will take ten years to be granted, another 5 to gather evidence, 5 more for the appointed Judge to come to his conclusions and write report, another 3 years while it's decided if it can be published i...

Re: Ulster v La Rochelle - Saturday (Sunday?) Ravenhill (RDS?)

Did I miss it, or amongst all this mayhem of decision making, was the option of simply swapping the home and away fixtures against Rochelle not considered? And this cold snap was well forecast. What date did the precautionary covering go onto the Kingspan pitch? If action had been taken earlier, wo...

Re: Ulster v La Rochelle - Saturday (Sunday?) Ravenhill (RDS?)

Montpellier last year and Gloucester this year deliberately sent understrength teams to play Leinster in Dublin. They don't appear to have the sycophantic weakness exhibited by Ulster Rugby towards rugby "authorities".

Re: Ulster v La Rochelle - Saturday (Sunday?) Ravenhill (RDS?)

No doubt Ulster Rugby will "take the learnings going forward". The hope is no doubt a forlorn one that sometime instead of putting their trust in Jesus they might actually raise the bottle to object to the inequitable standards of refereeing, disciplinary procedure outcomes and pitch asses...
