Re: Mark McCall anybody?
McGlocks will go nowhere near Ulster again after what they done to him. They pretty much put him on gardening leave when it came to identifying new talent. A lot has changed in his life since he last took the job and I’d say family is more of a priority to him these days and doesn’t need the hassle ...

Re: Gibbes away
Last time Soper worked with McGlocks, along with Suff they won everything in club rugby that season. EOS hasn’t been a big success at BELVO, few players aren’t keen on him and have already signed to go elsewhere next season. All is not lost sure look how bad the Saints were and they signed the Hurri...

Re: Contract situation
I recall this happening years ago, guy worked for free with them for 2 years then when a job came up, he got overlooked. Needless to say he’s doing very well for himself as one of Leinsters top S&C coaches

Re: Ulster sides in UBL
Out last game is away to Old Wesley so potentially a very tricky game. Tho we could have messed it all up before then unless we pull the finger out

Re: Ulster sides in UBL
For a guy on 80k a year, Browne was running that high into tackles you would have thought it was his first game of rugby. Another guy that should be let go by Ulster. Taking up a space of a young local prospect

Re: Ulster sides in UBL
Both r other first XV 10s r out injured. Had to chop and change a few things this morning but sure that’s the nature of the beast at this level. Probably suited Nelson as he didn’t want to play club rugby this season and asked not to be assigned to any club. Kiss was making him play! Ban showed a lo...

Re: Ulster sides in UBL
Great win for Banbridge today 29:12, they played some great rugby and deserved to beat us. We got into abit of an arm wrestle upfront and with r lightweight pack, it was never going to be a good idea. Didn’t help they pulled Nelson this morning leaving us with no outhalf. Going to be tight with Shan...

Re: Jono Gibbes - New Head Coach
I would take Stuart Lancaster, has great experience working with younger players. We could do a lot worse

Re: Ulster sides in UBL
Big derby on Saturday, we will be without McPhilips and probably Nelson, will be interesting to see what players are released. I wonder did Porter cancel his skiing trip?!

Re: Ulster sides in UBL
Great results yday for us, we got a BP win with drop kick in injury time and ban done us a big favour by drawing with Shannon

Yeah seems to be, got a couple from CCB aswell then the usual haul from Wallace. Hard keeping them all happy but they seem to be enjoying MCGlocks coaching.

Re: Ulster sides in UBL
Banbridge and Ballynahinch, 2 of the most successful clubs that invested in their youth system and keep putting out teams every week. Hinch have a few players in 1st squad that came through the youth but at the end of the day the harsh truth is that if your going to get in to 1A which is pretty much...

Re: Ulster sides in UBL
We beat UCC yday in very difficult conditions, Ballymena done us a favour and only 1 point off Shannon now. Banbridge still with in a sniff sitting in 3rd spot. Does B&I Cup quarter final fall on same weekend as any UBL fixtures as it will harm both teams chances of promotion.
