The less said about the game the better however for future reference, Nuala and Keiran from O'Neills in Great Queen Street were very welcoming and accommodating. They had put the Ulster v Ospreys game on their TV schedule for the evening and they showed the game on 2 of the 4 TVs in the bar. The pub...

With a 1pm kick-off, there may not be much time to do anything in London... I saw that the Walkabout in Manchester did some special deals for Munster fans before the game with Sale ( http://www.munsterrugbysupporters.com/munstersup/www/index.asp?magpage=6&id=3101 and http://www.munsterrugbysuppo...

OK guys, it looks as if we are on tomorrow for O'Neills, Great Queen Street. Kickoff 7.10pm. I spoke to Nuala, the manager (who is from N Ireland) and she said they would put the game on - however as it is a Friday night they may not put the sound on. If someone gets there before me then you can ask...

Where is Brentford? It is where the people of Chiswick go to get a bit of edge... Pub in question is 5 mins walk from Kew Bridge Station which is 18 mins from Clapham Junction on SW Trains with 4 trains per hour. It is a decent pub - Jamesie has been there - but it can be a bit of a health risk as w...

I rang the O'Neills in Great Queen Street mentioned previously and was asked to call back later today when the manager was in - I'll ring back to find out and put a posting up. There is a place in Brentford near me that shows the CL games and I watched the Ulster games against The Borders and Leinst...

Cool - I'll give them a call later in the week to see if they would show the Ulster - Hairsprays game.

The F3K was showing the game, however as it is in W London it is a bit more difficult to get to for people in the N, S or E so I suggested trying the Lyric as it is in the centre.

I'm happy to try the F3K for another game as I live in W London myself!

Good to meet you guys too. I got back eventually, after after waiting 30 minutes for a 94 bus that didn't stop then getting on the Central line to discover it wasn't running beyond Marble Arch. Ah, the joys of London life...

Well we had about 5 Ulster fans turn up at The Lyric to see the Biarritz game + assorted afternoon drinkers and early arriving Munster fans. The no-shows know who they are! The Lyric wasn't ideal as the landlord insisted in flicking over channels a few times each half to see what the footy scores we...

My vote would be to try The Lyric to see what it is like. It seems to be a favourite venue from munsterfans.com and hopefully that is a good sign. I don't think there will be dozens of people and I think it would be more craic to "take over" a smaller place than be a side-show in somewhere...

Stand up fer the Ulstermen in London

For Ulster exiles in London - time to sort out arrangements to watch the Biarritz game this Saturday. I just contacted Waxy O'Connors and was told they won't be showing the game as they no longer have Sky Sports. A suggestion is a pub called The Lyric which is recommended in the munsterfans.com webs...

Any Cameras at Ravenhill?

Were there any TV cameras at Ravenhill for the Treviso game last night?

Sky haven't shown anything at all from Ulster-Treviso on Sky Sports News or before the Cardiff-Leeds game - just highlights from Sale-Munster and the Bourgoin-Glasgow bore-fest.

This may be a bit late, however the Famous 3 Kings won't be showing the game as they don't have Setanta 2.

Plan B is Waxy O'Connors near Piccadilly.

Cheers Aaron - I called them as well as I need to sort out plans for tomorrow night and made the mistake of asking them what Setanta channels they had - this confused them but I ended up with the same response to call back tomorrow. It looks like they don't show Setanta PPV or Setanta Ireland but di...
