Re: 6 Nations 2024
His problem will be that it was the same offence repeated twice -- and the offence being one that is considered foul play rather say a repeat of an like off side or failure to release and therefore subject to review to being up graded during the game.

Re: 6 Nations 2024
Lowes kicking actually was not superb he was lucky that the French return of non touch kicks was extremely poor . If you are kicking for touch make touch but kicking long without close followup can frequently be extremely dangerous since it gives away possession and if the return is fast you can be ...

Re: 6 Nations 2024
Without their scrum half France lacked any flair and when the second row went off their morale hit zero only some friendly refereeing gave France the opportunity to score a couple of trys. Thus the match is not a basis for assessing the Irish performance or future performances . CI the major problem...

In certain games dan is going for experience and build Sheridan lacks experience and has a frame which needs to fill out a bit ,he also has to gain confidence in using it -- Look at McCann a year ago he was deservedly searching for a place now he is one of the first names on the sheet . Sheridan in ...

Re: Injury Update
The lad was getting nowhere fast to be honest ahead of him he was facing McCloskey, Hume,Marshall Moore and Postlewaite and in the circumstance it makes a wise decision to be honest . He showed promise and bravery on the pitch, but as I state he lacked the experience of those previously mentioned du...

The replay from a different angle confirms McCloskeys claim the ball didn't go 5 metres at the throw in agreed it was only a matter of inches but the receiver was too close to the touch line. ( never reviewed but quits claimed a knock on before an Ulster try goes immediately for a review and rules o...

My father played with and against Blair Mayne said he was the only person on a rugby pitch that scared him . My father said it was because Blair Mayne hadn't a clue about his own strength . Sir Ivor yer da must have been a Malone man

Re: Harlequins v Ulster Sat Jan 20 1pm KO TNT Sports 2
The writing was on the wall last year the truth is Burns is only capable of about two good outings a season. Ulster have possibly two of the best wings but when the ball heads towards the wings through the hands of the back line it never gets to the wings running on to the ball they get it standing ...

I have only been once after the betrayal and decision made by a load of D4 hypocrites who have said worse in their clubhouses and did worse while on tour let those with out sin cast the first stone and those goes for the girls too

No payne The truth is the guy was innocent but the feminists of Ireland needed an object of hate to exploit the potential of the "MEE TOOO' movement I do not wish to belittle the crime of rape but very frequently regret turns to revenge . And hell has no fury like a woman scorned . Basically th...

Very few 5 min ute scrums either Australian rugby it was you put it in quick those were the days my friends very few attacking fullbacks like JPR then or now.
The lions of 72 and 74 great sides great players -- different game you ran to avoid the tackle not to run over the opposition.

While the English may hate the French they also resent the success of the Irish —“Success and thick little Paddys —it’s not on old chap— mustn’t let them get above their station — definitely not on”

Re: Leinster v Ulster Mon Jan 1 5:15pm KO
Capt I would seriously disagree with the concept that referees are meant to LOOK for offences they are meant to penalise offence that they see as they occur not anticipate an offence and blow for it. By anticipating an offence being made by one side you become blind to the offences of the other team...

Capt are you trying to prove Murphy isn't predictable then you nit picking post is pointless if your trying to convince me Murphy doesn't look for penalties your post is pointless if your trying to convince me he miss obvious serious offences then the post is pointless. My point is that Murphy looks...
