Re: 6 nations 22

I think the result was about right given the game we saw.
Frustrating number of turnovers to counter rucking; was that Whiskey Malone being too slow or the forwards but doing their job?

Ultimately too many mistakes at crucial times and why Keenan kicked at 79m30s I'll never understand.

Did Duane bring a wee present with him when he joined the squad?

Uh huh....
Let's see where we are at the end of January in the league and reassess that one

Re: Ospreys v Ulster Sat Dec 4th 3pm KO

Well that was frustrating to watch. We seemed to make really good progress with runners hitting the line at pace from the 22 to 5 out; and then seemed to switch to passing to static players who couldn't get through from a standing start. That and the lack of a pass for the couple of line breaks we d...

Re: Other Internationals Autumn 2021

Murray Kinsella accurately pointed out that if Spain qualified for RWC 2023, Jordi Murphy could in theory play for them. His stand down period assuming no more Irish caps would end November 2022. I read elsewhere that Cooney has a credible link with Scotland. How long has it been since his last Iri...

Does that mean we don't rate Jack's chances of recovery to his former levels?

Re: Autumn International squad

I liked the lift in tempo when Casey came on. Murray felt very pedestrian and too slow getting to some of the rucks.
Shame Baloucoune didn't get any ball. I wonder if he needs to go looking for it more and pop up in midfield the way Lowe does.

I'd hoped that Timoney would get a run out this weekend.

Re: Lions 2021

When did they stop even pretending to make the scrum a contest for the ball?
Faff is putting it so far into the second row that the hooker isn't even bothering to make it look like he's trying to hook it.

Re: Rainbow Cup

I loved Addison's break down the right toward the end. Such a shame Ballocoune couldn't hold onto it in contact. I think there were quite a few sloppy knock ons through out that game just as it send we were getting into good positions. And the line out misfiring was a worry; so plenty to work on dur...
