Re: Dan’s Not the Man.
I think it'll take someone like a McCall who has won it all at club level to stick their boot up Ulsters collective hole. Our guys seem to get a bit too big for their boots after a few years with 'lesser' names (McCall ((before he left)), McLoughlin, Anscombe, McFarland et al.) The IRFU should go al...

Re: Dan’s Not the Man.
McCall leaving Sarries and turning down probably a host of quality job offers to come to Ulster, would be a akin to him leaving a high-end 6-figure job in London/New York to go work as a Level 4 Civil Servant job on 30k a year at County Hall in Ballymena. Not. A. Chance. I agree we've no hope but s...

Re: Dan’s Not the Man.
Frustrating thing is that after the last 2 years of chaos in the premiership, the Irish provincial sides are looking like pretty plum coaching jobs - good squads, decently funded and stable due to the union backing. The downsides are union heavy-handedness in international player selection manageme...

Re: Reset button required?
All need to go but player power at Ulster needs sorted also. I've heard of plenty of stories about cocky players but one that always annoyed me from years ago is hearing about Robbie Diack challenging Brian McLaughlin in front of the whole group that he didn't rate his coaching. Now, all I remember ...

Re: Dan’s Not the Man.
It's at the point now where DMF is costing a shed load more money than it would take to pay him off. Missing out on home playoff games (last year) when they were almost handed to us on a plate as cost a small fortune alone.

Absolutely brutal. Couldn't finish a fish supper and sleeping in defence.

2 soft pens and a lineout that didn’t go 5. Now we’ve got technical difficulties for a potential try scoring chance. Clusterfcuk.

Re: Petries Answering Questions
Unless it was marketed well, ticket prices dropped slightly along with an upturn in team performances. All unlikely.

Re: Petries Answering Questions
I know for a fact that they’re looking at filling in the corners, but there’s no money lads, nada, albeit that pitchgate, £500k drunk down the drain, just should not have happened, and does annoy. Heard rumours but wasn't sure. Maybe the Irish Govt will throw us a few Euros. They're giving the othe...

Re: Ulster vs Stade Toulousain 13/01/24 TNT Sports
100% We're getting our asses handed to us on a plate from the Senior team right down through every single age grade. It will take a serious amount of effort, thought, money and time (10 years at least) to get it sorted and because of this it will never happen. Money will just be thrown at journeymen...

Re: Ulster vs Stade Toulousain 13/01/24 TNT Sports
Well and truly minced in every aspect of game. Scoreline flattered us … would have been 60 plus only ST took it easy last 30 mins. Oul burns was milking the limelight all week after ONE decent performance … doing this gangster type thing that PJ used to do. Just looks like a complete tool now like t...

Re: Petries Answering Questions
Why on earth is this even still an issue??? We haven't had too many sellouts so we haven't really missed out but this is one where we will. Maybe being cynical but is this another Petrie special? Why haven't they been badgering the council to get this restriction binned? Are there still restrictions...
