Re: Mexico Vs Ulster KO 5.45pm BT Sport 3

Jacob Stockdale = Robbie Diack Discuss Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk Too hard on Jacob. Don't understand why he didn't just dive but he didn't. He will be totally gutted as will Cooney for missing that easy conversion. I fully expected a serious humping by Leinster today, but the Ulster team ...

Re: Dragons Away

Great hard nosed game by the Ulster pack who finally look somewhat organized. Billy Burns continues to look nothing special - he's had a long time to show his stuff. Eric O'Sullivan and Balocoune look likely future Ireland internationals. Timoney now looks at least as good as J.Murphy as an all-purp...

Re: Ulster v Zebre Sat 23rd Feb 7:35pm KO Free Sports

The poor old Zebre reserves were poor opposition.
In Balacoune and Lyttle, Ulster have a couple of wings with real pace, and pretty good footballing/defensive skills too.

Re: Ospreys vs Ulster

I think the days of Cave providing much creativity are probably over. We picked a pretty limited back three , more out of necessity than choice, but can be reasonably pleased with the set piece, handling, discipline and defensive structure. Job done. I'd give full marks to Ludik. This guy always gi...

Re: Six Nations 18/19

Brutal looking game no real loser there, England just seem to have the edge this week. Disagree. Ireland were very much the loser. The Nigels were all over them and bullied them off the park. Several Ireland big names did not show up today. This is a very settled and experienced Ireland team. You w...

Re: Moment of the match

Today's moment had to be El Matador Señor Stockdale putting May on his hoop in the last 10 mins. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk Yes enjoyed that tremendously. Stocker's footwork was amazing. But so is his strength. There were several occasions in that game when he powered through opposition t...

Re: Leicester away

Looking at the big picture - we are quite lucky to be in the quarter finals of the HC. With everyone fit, Ulster can muster a competitive XV, but it still looks a tad disorganised, with a sloppy lineout, poor handling and glaring defensive issues at times. But we'll take it. Reserve strength is stil...

Re: Leicester away

Leicester are well and truly out of it after their humping by the Scarlets. Maybe they'll do us a favour and field a duff team.

Re: Where’s Baggy????

Hasn't the olu fella boggered off to live in Spain?
He's given up bull shiiting for bull fighting.
Maybe he's just tuned out on cheap Spanish plonk and doesn't see the games.

Yawnfest. Yes - the Ladyee reserves are better than the Ulster reserves. But we knew that.

Re: Connacht v Ulster Fri Dec 28 7:35pm TV (Premier Sport 1,

Totally shiit, error-ridden game of rugby from two poor teams. Connacht were just about the better of a bad lot, never mind the ref's decision on Carty's try - he was clearly offside. Ulster lacking in brains, physicality, leadership and oomph. When everyone is fit and playing at his best, we can ju...

Re: Scarlets trilogy

Hendo was immense, the guy is simply the dogs bôllocks Hendo is a force of nature. He is not bulging with massively defined muscle like Etzebeth or Itoje, but he is immensely powerful. You can see the rucks shudder when he hits and he is so difficult to pull down on the carry. Great engine on him n...

Re: Scarlets trilogy

Best result and performance of the season. Pleased for Henry. Some pi$h poor comments on here about him recently. Top effort by the usual away fans as well. Hope they’ve found somewhere half decent to celebrate, however unlikely that may be >appl :stout: :santa: Henry did have a good game and fair ...

Rory for me. Real captain's performance leading by example and in the thick of everything. He still has some engine on him for a man of 36.

Re: Michael Lowry the new Jack Kyle

Like many on here I would rate both Kyle and Gibson above BOD. I am probably one of the few on here that have played on teams against both of these greats, in Kyle's case it was in his twilight playing careers at full back for North Thirds and in Gibson's case it was in a School cup quarter final. ...
