Re: URC 2021/22 - Other Sides

Looks like Leinster have lined up that big name SH lock they were after as Dunne’s replacement.

Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!

He’s come from nowhere to get a cap and a place in the Autumn squad.

No doubt he’ll be reviewing his options in two years but, at his current rate of improvement, a central contract would a better bet than him taking a pay day at 25.

Re: Heineken Cup 2021/22

So now that we’ve qualified I’m just seeing that the ‘round of 16’ is a feckin two legged affair. Where is the fairness in that? So we could easily draw Toulouse after the weekend. As good as we’ve been I don’t fancy our chances over 2 games. It would mean teams like ourselves who have literally bu...

Re: Northampton 16th Jan

To be fair to Stephen Jones, a team that can call on Lions like Biggar and Lawes, and emerging England internationals like Mitchell, Furbank and Ludlam, should on paper perform better than they do against a team like Ulster who don't have as many seasoned internationals to call on. Most of our key ...

Re: Trip to Northampton

I missed out sadly.

An unusually good pint of Doom Bar in the Working Mens Club.

They only get some in when there’s a game on apparently.

Re: Munster 2021/22

Castres changed 13 was it?

Let’s make games 75 minutes long and stop Munster winning by boring everyone to death (although someone may have to sign TB too).

Re: Northampton 16th Jan

I’m slightly annoyed that the Saints have failed to respect the traditions of the competition by refusing to pick a second string team after losing their first two games. However, I’ve every confidence that experienced heads like Biggar and Lawes would much rather put their size 12s up next week, as...

Been to Griffin Park a bunch of times for the footy but not the new place.

There’s a link on Irish’s website to loads of pubs nearby.
