Re: A little bit of politics folks`
I don't think the Maybot will front the Brexit negotiations. As PM, she won't have the time and she would also be a disaster given her natural instincts are for secrecy and control freakery and spouting meaningless platitudes won't cut any ice when presented with a detailed list of points that need ...

Re: Manchester
Bazzaj - you are just playing semantic games talking about "modern leftist elitist liberalism" and "actual liberalism". Let's face it, you will just decide what you like and what you don't like based upon your own prejudices and if you don't like it, then you will call it "m...

Re: Manchester
You've got a couple of things in common with the Manchester bomber bazaaj.
You both don't want a liberal society and you are both wrong.

Re: Manchester
The neo-nazi nutter who planted bombs in gay pubs in the 90s made the bombs himself without an accomplice. Please don't sign up to this 'lone Wolf theory'. That's what they want you to think and this myth is part of the problem. These guys are all part of a bigger network. Allowing people to believ...

Re: Manchester
I tend to agree with bazzaj that Saudi is the origin of a lot (but not all...) of the problems.
There is no way the US/UK will do anything though. Oil and arms sales are more important.

Re: Sky Sports
I heard about a revamp a couple of months ago but it was separate channels for F1, cricket, golf, 2 channels for football and rugby was going to be lumped into a separate "all other sports" channel with netball, WWE, darts and all the other sports they cover.

Re: A little bit of politics folks`
It is really very clever politics by the tories, grab the kippers by saying Brussels are cnuts and we'll fight them on the beaches etc. and grab the labour vote by stealing policies like energy caps and promising additional worker rights (rights which are unenforceable in tribunals...) However it is...

Re: Ulternative Player of the Season
Regardless of what Stockdale has proven this season, letting Scholes go is still a bad move. Bowe is a busted flush; Trimble is almost certainly waining; Charlie is out the door at the end of next season; and Gilroy's development has gone into reverse at an alarming pace. Stockdale and Lyttle aren'...

Re: RWC 2019
As far as I can tell, Europe 1 is likely to be someone like Romania or Georgia.
"Play-off" is between another European team who isn't Europe 1 (like Romania/Georgia, Spain or Russia) and third placed Pacific team (Fiji, Samoa or Tonga)

I've been to Japan years ago with work but would love to go back for a holiday. RWC 2019 looks like a good excuse.

Re: World Mental Health Day
Probably more appropriate in this thread than a rugby discussion. I seem to remember that when he was Bath, he was banned after an incident involving taking coke in a pub toilet then gatecrashing and getting into a fight in a party for another team so it doesn't seem his life was straightened out af...
