sorry, the wink was just meant to indicate not being too serious, just having a laugh.

Jauizon made two mistakes with the tackle on Harrisson. First he lifted JH's leg too high (beyond parallel) which is deemed dangerous and secondly after lifting him he lost control and JH turned and came down. If you pick a player up you have a responsibility to put them back down safely. It wasn't ...

yeah right. Not sure that many would join you in turning down any opportunity to play for the Lions.

... but for the lions, he was so far out of his depth it was unfunny, i felt embarrassed when he trotted on the pitch. what was he supposed to do? say, "oh no Clive i think you should give that shirt to someone else" Yes in the summer of 2005 he was well beyond his best, but in his prime ...

Agree with BR re Toulouse. They'll go toe to toe with anyone - they're not going to turn up to Ravenhill hoping to steal a win. They have a great pack but the backs to match. Our forwards will need to step it up no doubt but we should be expecting a win. In the past i think that our game plans have ...

Not necessarily BR ........... The only other place I have seen this in top flight rugby has been the Sportsground. It does detract from the atmosphere and keeps the supporters very detatched. But the sports ground is a very small ground compared to the 20-25 k being planned. Typically Connacht/Con...

Probably better, just a shame that he was wasted in that Irish team.

Keith Crossan ranks up there with my favourites as do Denis McBride, Brian Robinson, Phil Matthews and Wood.

Anyone got any idea when the fixtures will be announced - haven't been able to find them. I know that the weekends that the games will take place on are available on the ERC web site but not which games will be played on which weekends. Might help with away day planning.

The draw for the last two set of semi finals was very suspicious. Basically the winner of seeds 1 v 8 have been drawn at home to the winners of seeds 4 v 5 and the wineers of seeds 2 v 7 have been drawn at home to winner of seeds 3 v 6. Odds on this happening 144 - 1. Draw your own conclusions. it'...

Jones is an excellent player but is out of position at 7. He's a six. Hopefully a more mobile back row will give us an edge at the breakdowns.

fly half problem...

with Humph playing on for one more year it has become important that in the next year we find a replacement for him. Paddy Wallace has been the man earmarked for that role for a long time, certainly has the talent but... questions remain  Steinmetz would be a great option but I like him at 12....
