Re: Who was your MOTM for ULSTER vs Leinster?
Can anyone explain to me what Cave did above his usual stint to rival Nelson as UMOTM?

Re: Leinster v Ulster Live
Didn't Ryan and Ruddock both turn down Ulster inquiries about moves north when they were getting hardly any time at Leinster? The rationale is no doubt that they get the chance to shine in the main team when they're on form and with little expectation, so the inevitable mistakes don't undermine conf...

Re: Any word on the Academy?
Agree Setanta. Logan is employed to grow the commercial side of Ulster Rugby, the increase in gates and STs are proof he has done a good job. He has taken a long term view by reaching schools through the Nevin Spence centre and is not among the dinosaurs who diss social media as an effective way to ...

Re: Ulster V Scarlets
Would we not he better with diack at 6. He covers a lot of ground and is more skilful than the other two. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Diack is OK. But I am always disappointed that a bloke with his physical attributes does not make better use of them. He tends to go down easily and looks und...

Re: Roger Wilson signs new two-year contract with Ulster
Reputedly RW was on one of the top five deals at UR when he re-signed, he wasn't Test class then and he isn't now. Ulster need an 8 with Williams' power and Wilson's work rate but also in their mid twenties. Right now Ulster have one Test class player in Henry and his future isn't certain, so Ulster...

Re: Ulster vs Dragons Live updates
Paul Marshall had a great game. He should do more sniping runs because he is so fast off the mark. His kick/run/pass decisions were good. He put in a couple of the best touch finders in the game and his passing was sympathetic to the conditions. It wasn't a night to be flinging high/low passes :) - ...

Re: A review of Props at Ulster
So two tightheads and two looseheads are going. McCall is moving to Hooker, so that's effectively 5 props down and only two in.

Re: Anscombe eager to extend Ulster stay Yes / No
Anscombe is in charge of selection and I can't think of too many times I've had problems with his choice. Equally there have been times when he's made big calls at halftime with tactics and subs to change the course of games (eg. Connacht away). More often than not, Ulster have turned in better seco...
