Re: Ulster's finances
New stadium effect. People want to go and experience it for the first few years. Play a big European match there or against a NZ xv with cheap ticket prices and marketed well and it would work. Even 28k at Casement would still look good. Other than the euros (potentially) I couldn't see NI going ba...

Re: New Signing - Werner Kok
Stats aside, one could argue that Kok is the living embodiment of our new ‘three pillars’ of energy, enjoyment and competitiveness. He never stops, has had a bit of craic with East Terrace and knew he’d have to be the fittest bloke in the squad to make up for being a short Brennan. Would you want y...

Re: New Signing - Werner Kok
14 games as a winger with four tries to his name last season… is this because our own Irish winger has declared for the sevens Actually 7 in 17. Where do people get their stats from on here? Please try all.rugby In more up to date news, our own Irish winger has scored once this season, as opposed t...

Re: Contract Situation
Er no, Kirsten got about 60% of his minutes from the season before and then left. Vermeulen got a couple of extra games and has played at 7 this season, a position Ewers has never started at in his career, so a weird way of phasing him out. It’s quite time consuming fact-checking your posts. Please ...

Re: Contract Situation
Could understand on paper with Ewers playing profile could be beneficial BUT ultimately his legs have gone those 200+ prem games have added up, and he wasn’t the fastest anyway to start with. It’ll be interesting what Murphy does with them til end of season. It never made sense, he's primarily a de...

We’ll be grand when Casement is finished.
May have to play the match under GAA rules to ensure a full house though.

Re: Bryn Cunningham in the Daily Telegraph - stop thinking about winning
As you can’t quite bring yourself to admit, the signings in recent times have been pretty good. You’re clearly struggling if you’re going back to Jones and Ross. What about James French and Greg NcGarth, our two most recent signings on professional contracts? Or Dave Ewers? Tell that to Dave Ewers....

Re: Contract Situation
Spot on Rum.
I was still going strong into my 40s until I got wed and then my Achilles went within 6 months.
They don’t warn you about that during the bloody Marriage Preparation Course, do they?
