Re: So where do we play the QF?
For those who haven't driven round Dublin, watch out for the barrier free toll on the M50. You have to phone through your payment within 24 hrs - and if you don't, they will come after you regardless of where you live. Yeah they may do, but they've never come after me.... famous last words i'm sure...

Re: So where do we play the QF?
I believe the URSC are doing a couple of buses down on a day trip. £30 for members and £35 for non members 450 mile round trip. Factor in the current price of diesel/petrol plus a few tolls, not to mention the hassle, and that looks like good value. btw For those who haven't driven round Dublin, wa...

Re: Redevelopment.
A 15K+ stadium is essential for a professional club with any ambition and the current proposals seem spot on imo.

Re: Clermont +1
[/quote] Very wise words indeed D4, you're in a cup knock out competition after all. Would it be fair to say some Leinster fans think they're in the final already? I would really like to see an Irish final but the chances of that happening are prob average enough, i wonder what the bookies are givin...

Re: Clermont - Still a massive game
If anything, the game is even more massive now. The huge opportunity afforded by a win tomorrow has become crystal clear after tonight's results.
The bookies agree. Best price available now is 22-1 with Paddy Power.

Don't suppose anybody had the double?
Wouldn't surprise me now if Racing and Irish complete the quad.

Fantastic Connacht! Did ye see how much that meant to them at the end - and rightly so. Hopefully they'll be back next year. I assume the qualification criteria is the same?

It's all coming together.
If we can hit the straps early on we can put the French under some really serious pressure tomorrow.
As Cpl Jones famously said ...

Re: If Glaws and/or Westies do us a favour the night ...
That's the thing. It's either win away tomorrow or win away in the quarters (assuming we secure a 2nd spot). Having said that, any away q/f is unlikely to be more difficult than Clermont. Suppose it could even be Clermont or is that mathematically impossible?

If Glaws and/or Westies do us a favour the night ...
How d'ye think it will affect our performance the marra?
a. Relieve the pressure and enable us to give it a lash? or
b. Take the edge of what is no longer a must win game?

Small query.
Do the top seed/s also have home advantage in the semis/final if they progress that far?

Re: Squad (34) v Clermont
I'll have a guess and say Paddy Wallace You'd think so but he's only played 44 (38 + 6 sub) David Humphreys has 62 (61+1). Not sure if that's the Ulster record but must be close. D Humph has 57 Ulster ERC caps (56 + 1) I reckon you took the above 62 in good faith from the ERC website Merv. D. Humph...

Look.
The wee girl's on a bit of an ego trip and is being seriously indulged by somebody.
But this stuff is seriously embarrassing and needs to be stopped. Time and time again it has been proved that we just can't do this sort of thing. Better getting back to the weans playing mini rugby imo.
