Only one word for that... embarrassingly pathetic.

Re: Ulster vs Stade Toulousain 13/01/24 TNT Sports

Massive gulf in class. Bigger, faster, stronger, more skillful, clearer heads. A world cup winning prop and a front 2 rows of the scrum who have been capped got absolutely rinsed by both Toulouse front rows. Hendy might get near the Ireland squad, Timony and Stewart on tackle bag duty, but if Stockd...

Re: Leinster v Ulster Mon Jan 1 5:15pm KO

Seems like Kitshoff may have been involved in a bit of our attack plans based on his inside knowledge of Nienaber. He has also single handedly sorted the scrum by all accounts lol

Looked like Sheridan was there as injury cover and seemingly without textbooks.

Re: Leinster v Ulster Mon Jan 1 5:15pm KO

None of our 3 tries from rolling mauls. Gotta be disappointed not getting the BP. Had chances. Generally our line-out hasn't been great all year but the Leinster guy beside me said opposition line-outs have been Leinster's most effective set piece recently! The most delicious thing was watching the ...

McGrath and French seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth. McGrath was brought in as a joker to cover injuries is he even still here?

Apparently this week our "accuracy" wasn't good enough. Suitably vague coach- speak for we couldn't hit a cow's Brennan with a banjo.

Not a very successful weekend so far for URC teams in the matches against French and English opposition.

Re: Bath v Ulster

For the try they ran in after the kick out on the full. Why was our defensive line 10m behind the scrum? Am I missing something for this to be the case? Stockdale went into the scrum, so they were a man down in the backs and had to resort to a soft drift defense. Was this after, according to Swiss ...

That's the tragic part isn't it. We can't afford it.
Even more tragic, him jumping ship now is unlikely. Who would have him?

Re: Bath v Ulster

In recent years we've been getting into the URC playoffs steady enough and springing the odd great performance in Europe. Every year there are a handful of good results to keep things interesting before kaking our pants leading to ultimate disappointment. This year the hope isn't going to kill us th...

Not a bother to Ronan , sure he can just wear a cap and noone will know he's there, even if the rest of the stadium is completely empty save for La Rochelle's "delegation".
