Re: A little bit of politics folks`
Debrett's Correct Form adjudicates on the matter thus: "Belfast elects a Lord Mayor " "There is no difference in the form of address for a Lord Mayor who is a lady." "Lady Mayoress (i.e. the wife or other chosen female consort, e.g. a daughter, of a Lord Mayor) is not styled...

Re: Should Ulster Play.....
You are talking about a subject of which you have clearly little or no actual knowledge. There's every chance you are absolutely right, but rather than just dismiss what I would hold as a valid view point, why don't you excuse my ignorance and enlighten me as to the error of my ways? LL - I confess...

Re: Leinster Vs Ulster Pro12 Semi
News has been quiet in confirming the venue. I suspect that could be good news for us, as they don't want to give us a carrot ahead of the game. The irish times had publish a article and the pulled it very quickly. All very suspicious, but after all the bad luck and missed opportunities maybe the s...

Gah, Peter Millar it 'twas, Hans... :duh: :thumleft: If I remember, he could play tight and loose? Played against him up on the Braid... Yes he was ambi.....ambi......ambi.....- could play both sides of the scrum!! I think he favoured loose. Played against him a few times - I remember one occasion ...

Re: Andrew Warwick
Who have been local props who were above average? Rab Irwin (ex -Ci I'll remind you >EW )of the 98/99 Cup winning squad. Gary Leslie backed him up. Leslie was decent, but Rab was massive, even then. Propped against Califano, Simon (or was he tight?, so long ago ) etc.. and 5 hairy ars*ed F...

True as that is he was instrumental in getting us into a position where we were 2 points ahead at the 80 min point - thus stills deserves credit for an excellent 80 mins work!Rooster wrote:Doyle almost lost us the match with his paw in the scrum at the end

Re: Who is your ULSTER MOTM vs Munster?
Quite a few contenders from the young uns! I thought Heaney had a good game both going forward and in defence, Warwick put in a very good shift and did not look in any way uncomfortable or out of his depth. Touhey led well and put in some great work, and Sugar had a very solid game especially from t...

Re: Crowd debate
There was a right brain fart (22 Aquinas end) on the Prom in Friday; firing a 3/4 full pint onto the pitch. I have an issue with that Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Totally agree and not just because some of it went over me. Throwing anything on the pitch crosses even the most liberal of lines....

Re: What position did you/do you play?
Spent the majority of 35+ playing years at 1 - moved to 3 as the years rolled by. Played every position in the pack at some stage or other - even played outside centre in a game once (sort of friendly/charity thing) with Don Whittle at inside centre with me!! Like Rocky - an indicator of era/standar...

Re: Connacht sign Muliaina
What a magnificent signing for Connacht. Sure his best years are behind him but what a great player to help Westies develop their own guys. Will be a privilege to see the man play. I would say that even at 34 or so years of age he can still turn a trick of two - I don't think he has played much for...

Re: Shooting star
I'm going to assume that is some Monty Python reference, which will go over my head as I've never watched it..... It is the indeed the Monty Python 'Universe' song - you really should check it out - it will not 'go over your head' I assure you - just a humorous way of putting life on earth into som...
