Re: Engerland v Ireland
Just watched the RTEcoverage. What a shower of tossers particularly Shaggy. Sexton had a dreadful game and they couldn't bring themselves to admit it. Thought Andy T had a good game and covered every blade of grass and also made a try saving tackle which was attributed to Murray by our EYE commentat...

Re: What the Papers Say 2013/2014
I have just read David Kelly's report of the match in the independent and must say I have never read a more begrudgingly diatribe ever. Is it any wonder in Ulster we tend to a bit neurotic.

Re: Heineken Cup Replaced
Why should the rfu' s of Europe jump ship from a Sky broadcast contract an no doubt get involved in litigation to get the English out of a contractual hole they dug entirely for themselves with their sordid deal with BT. It's beginning to look like the eRFU were complicit with the Premier Clowns reg...

Re: Positives & Negatives: Ulster vs. Edinburgh
For me the real positive was the bonus points generated by a team playing as a team but with many of the players having individual points to make or opportunities to take. For Ulster I did not see any failures. DC,DT,AT RD,LM and TC all performed and stuck a finger up at wee Joe while McKinney,Black...

Re: Ireland v. New Zealand
Good to see teamspirit is at a high level with the Leinster team mates right behind ON . with Cruz of "your on your own" If Madigan had any balls he would own up to missing his man.

Re: Ireland v Australia
Some interesting comments especially about BOD as the team and press focus appears to be about getting him past someone or others test match appearances while he plays with himself(pun intended) and for himself. He has been doing that for a number of years now. Bringing on the untouchables(Ulster Br...

Re: Ireland v Australia
Just read Thornleys article on no untouchables on the Irish team. What a great load of bull I'll give him 4 to start with. Trimble,Cave,Touhy and Court. Bazzaj I'm guessing your assumptions are correct but for me it's hard to take when I look at some of the dross selected because they know the syste...

Re: Ireland v Australia
Until BOD retires Ireland will play a game which suits his style of play meanwhile he has adjusted his game to match his current physical abilities which have changed substantially as age and injuries have taken their toll. I hope Ireland in replacing BOD will look for a centre who plays like a cent...

Re: Ireland v Australia
Dan Touhy another name to the list of on form unwanted Ulster players.(Trimble,Cave,Court.) This selection just stinks makes me think we should have a list of Leinster reserves to see what the Irish team post world cup will look like. For someone who came to the table as the new messiah he has very ...

Re: How do we develop the depth of our squad.
Agree with Bazzaj. We appear to be getting there with player development however selection policy in Rabo needs tweaked. I am happy we are moving in the right direction at a pace which matches our capabilities. Rome was not built in a day. We have gone a long way from feeling devastated for the firs...

Re: Olding
Looks like we're generally in agreement on this one and no reason at all why mgr can't keep all of these talented backs happy.
The combinations produced and styles of play offerred by those combinations will make this Ulster team very hard to play against and predict.

Re: DOES ANYONE CARE IF DARREN CAVE LEAVES ULSTER?
I would feel Ulster would be missing a big trick to let him go or to fester. Its a team game and he is key to our team as our backs invariably run better and defend well when he plays. I also believe he is one of the reasons our wings score often as they do as they receive a ball capable of being ca...
