Re: Pro 14 2018/19

Glasgow had to cope with the demands of the national side.

Re: Pro 14 2018/19

Glasgow in fact finished 5 points higher than Leinster Snipe.

Having seen Ulster travel to them both twice this season, Glasgow looked the better side.

Weather like last week and I’m inclined to think they would have won.

Re: Cricket season

Not at Lord’s!

My favourite sporting venue in the world, not least because you’re allowed to bring a bottle of wine in each to a Test match.

I’d better check if that’s still the case for the World Cup. Quite possibly not.

I like Professor T and Sex Crimes from Belgium.

Re: Cricket season

SA v Bangladesh, India v Australia and Australia v NZ in the World Cup for me, followed by a day at Lord’s for the Ireland Test and a day at Headingley and the Oval for the Ashes.

Well he was never really here but he was unlikely to be happy with being 5th choice at his age.

I hope the Admiral has a few more voyages left in him.

Re: Glasgow v Ulster, Fri May 17, 19:35

Invariably, a team is never as bad as it’s supposed to be, nor as good. Shipping 198 points in travelling to the four best teams we’ve played is all the context that is needed, notwithstanding plenty of positives. McGrath and Carter are likely to improve the pack and having Gilroy and Addison around...

Two and a quid for a 12 yr old Glencoyne. Plus a tasty half of Knops California Dreaming to wash it down. Are you still only allowed to buy four drinks at a time? So I queued for ten minutes at half time to get a round in and encountered problems as there were five of us. I made it clear what I tho...
