Re: Joke of the Day
My wife is always complaining that I'm tight with money so yesterday, to surprise her, I treated her to afternoon tea. It was very exciting as she had never given blood before ... SPOILER ALERT First time donors get a cold drink. (at least they did when I gave my first pint back in 1977) I'm on abo...

Some of you may be encouraged to learn that my neighbour is still having regular sex at 80!
It's handy because he only lives at No. 76

If Ireland win the thing and Wales finish last i think nearly everyone will get a trophy albeit a wooden one for th...

Re: 6 Nations 2024
Who cares?
Winning the pot and losing to England is failure just as it was when Ireland did it to them

He can know it all about physical and organic chemistry or whatever, but I doubt very much he ever carried out proper research on what happens to a individual bits of fo...

Re: Football at Ravenhill?
The residents of the Onslow, Ravenhill and Mt Merrion areas can breathe a sigh of relief as the game will not be played at Ravers. I would have been very much against such a game being played however UR have lost a significant additional income stream as they were bound to have cashed in by introdu...

Re: What are you reading?
Might start reading more these days now that the city of Bangor HAS A NEW BOOKSHOP!!! Waterstones open in Bloomfied Centre. Has the tide turned and books are becoming cool again? They also opened a new one in Forestside last year. Bet it's not as good as ours. >TT Better class of clientele though. ...
