Re: Coronavirus 2020 - What can I do?
Yeah agree Jackie but it is going to be a mighty pain in the ballix. Of course a pain in the ballix is preferable to mass infection.

Re: Coronavirus 2020 - What can I do?
Even the RCC has cancelled services for the next few weeks. Tis something when even God himself can't protect folk in "his house".

Re: 6N 2020
I see the Wales v Scotland game has finally been postponed. Thankfully this has happened as I would have watched the game despite knowing in advance it would have been torture.

Technically one could argue this is not true. COVID-19 is holding a card...big mervyn wrote: ↑Mon Mar 09, 2020 8:58 pm Bizarrely, Ireland is now the only team whose championship title destiny is entirely in their own hands.

Re: 6N 2020
Who gives a flying f*ck about the 6 nations now anyway! The GS is dead and nobody remembers the Champions if they don't achieve it. It'll probably be decided on points difference in October now  The unions care Mervyn. GS is for fans and players. Championships and high table positions is for ...

Re: 6N 2020
I don't think anybody is offended. Generally we tend to call out foul play when we see it. For example I recall we had a nice discussion on here a good few years ago about the bag snatching tendencies of one Leo Cullen. He was a dirtbag for it and so is Marler. We've discussed dirty tackles so we ar...

Re: 6N 2020
It takes a special talent to make this Scotland team look anything other than a hopeless rabble. France have that talent in abundance. It was always going to happen to them. It was just a question of when.

Re: 6N 2020
Grabbing someone by the dick, has our game come to this? Hopefully a lengthy ban will be handed out. Anything less will mean that the rugby authorities condone this scumbag stuff. I have no time at all for the Welsh and they were far from innocent yesterday but even I have no option but to say that...

That young lad, Baird, looks pretty handy. Mind you how did an Irish guy get a name like Ryan Baird. Sounds like he should be playing bagpipes.

Decent enough win today for Munster against Scarlets. Conditions dreadful so it is impressive enough to get the bonus point.

Re: 6N 2020
Farrell gives a good impression of somebody who is as thick as pigsh!t in his media interviews. You could put that down to my middle class bigotry against his Northern working class persona and poor command of English ("they was, we was" ffs! ) but Sean Edwards seems as sharp as a ...

Re: 6N 2020
Not sure that Earls brings much more than his lion heart to the proceedings. It's a dicussion point I think in terms of what he may or may not bring currently. The bigger thing for me is that he is coming towards the end of his career. If we are looking forward he is not in the plan. However we nee...
