Re: Murphys Back!!!!!
Not sure about that one - Tommy finshed off his tries really well but didn't see much else from him (primarily because scotland had the ball...).

Re: Wales
I agree Neil. WHat they do have is big boots - so they can get themselves out of trouble and they have great finishers in the backline. Their pack have good handling skills but won;t dominate set pieces/ breakdowns. Definitely beatable, but if a game goes loose they have the ability to pile on point...

Re: Murphys Back!!!!!
To be fair I think the MOTM was 2 fingers up to EOS. Sticking the old knife in there - nice one Mathews.
I thought Murphy was very good and should retain the 15 with that performance - trimble was excellent - maybe just needed a try to get the MOTM.

Re: Ireland vs. Scotland
Difficult gain to analyse - are Ireland any good? Or, are Scotland just attrocious? Some great precision and accuracy from the Ireland backline - but I thought the performance by the pack was average at best. Lineout was a shambles again, although Best and POC steadied the ship. The breakdown was pa...

Half-time: Jackman must go!
Half time and Ireland are somehow 8 points up. The scots have dominated posession and territory but lack any sort of precision in the final 3rd. Jackman has displayed the worst lineout throwing I think I have ever seen (certainly at international level and possibly at school level too). I'm sure 2 o...

Re: Jackman Still In??
the guy is 31 - what's the point of selecting him? Unless, he's significantly better than the younger guys he's a waste of space. Rory is 25 and has a good chance of being around for the next RWC. Rather, than developing young players, EOS is tryin to keep his job! The Scots should be up for this on...

Re: Ulster v Dragons live updates
I think that's an extremely difficult game to analyse. The red card really did change the match. Indeed, I've no doubt it would have been a much closer affair if they had stayed with 15 men. However, there were certain aspects of our game that have changed massively since our last outing. Foremost i...

Re: Who will win tonight ?
I'm not so optimistic. - bart can be a liability at 15 - we have Tommy playing out of position - can Nial dictate a game? - dawson and ferris haven't played in a while - harrison hasn't played much rugby in a while - inexperienced front row I forsee a very disjointed game - lots of errors, little co...

Re: Team announced
I agree with Neil for 4 reasons: - harrison is leaving at the end of the season, unless he plays his socks off he shouldn't be in squad. we have ample cover for him - mccullough should not be covering the backrow. generallly he's failed to impress at 6. - dawson is unlikely to last the 80. that mean...
