Ignore option?

Post by doodle »

Is there any way of setting up an Ignore option for the board? I frequent another, not rugby, board where if one doesn't like the topic or the poster there is such a facility. So many threads on this board are hi-jacked by two or three people verbally abusing each other that it is hardly worthwhile wading through the dross. It must be quite intimidating for newcomers too, when they read so much negative content. I know it puts me off posting more often and I'm sure I am greatly missed

I think the software is provided by a crowd called prospero.com or dogbert. I'm not well up on these newfangled thingies, but those are the two names that appear when logging on or off.

Thank you for the reply Fermain.

I looked at the phpBB site and it is cefiniitely a little bewildering. Not to worry, I will ignore the troll by closing my eyes as soon as I see its moniker.

It's a shame that it won't just go away, but I suppose if people are silly enough to feed it...
